The furious father of ISIS executioner Mohammed Emwazi also said “to hell with my son” in an emotional call to a close friend, The Telegraph reported Tuesday.
“He was very emotional and crying the whole time,” Abu Meshaal told the London-based newspaper. “He said he had talked to him a lot trying to persuade him to return to his personal life but that the son didn’t listen to him.”
Jasem Emwazi told his pal that the umasking of Emwazi as the monster who beheaded foreign captives on behalf of ISIS was a “catastrophe” for his family.
“He is sitting home and cannot even go to the mosque to pray because he is ashamed of his son,” Meshaal said. “He doesn’t want people to see him, so he is praying at home.”
Due to pressure from investigative agencies in England the family has returned to their home country of Kuwait.
