The media joined in the politico attack on Ben Carson last week over something they deemed a lie which in fact was nothing more than the truth. Turns out recruiting materials for West Point use the word “scholarship” and Congress persons who recommend good students for the academy also use the term “full scholarship.” Politico did what the main stream media has done for years, it applied spin to a non-story to destroy the political opposition. That Ben Carson is a black man should make this lie especially distasteful in today’s politically correct world. How many times was Barack Obama treated this poorly in the media. Answer…never! For instance, prior to his election in 2008 who in the media questioned Obama about the pamphlet that referred to him as a Kenyan, or asked Obama why he never had them change it? More to the point, how many in the media dug into his past, found this tidbit of information, and then spun a story to make Obama look like a liar? Answer…none!
Why is it considered “good journalism” to dig into minute details of Carson’s life to harm him and conversely to help Obama, ignore or dismiss details of his life? Obama’s associations with Bill Ayers, a sixties radical bomb tosser and Reverend Wright, the white hating, America hating, black liberation theologian with a fiery tongue were not revealed to the public. Had the media pursued the background story of Barack Obama with the same zealotry that they pursued Carson (Romney, Palin, Fiorina…name your republican) the candidacy of Barack Obama might have been destroyed. This two-faced, forked tongued, politically correct journalism has got to Stop.
Today DeRoy Murdock is on the job, exposing lies largely ignored and often supported by the left media:
If the Black Lives Matter crowd is correct, bloodthirsty, racist cops are blasting black men like clay pigeons at a shooting range. The pace of this alleged slaughter is breathtaking.
“Every 28 hours, a black person is murdered by police,” Black Lives Matter activist Cherno Biko told Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly. “It feels like we’re in a war.”
If true, killer cops are rubbing out some 313 innocent, law-abiding blacks annually.
Murdock paints the outrageous drama playing out in front of the cameras perfectly; it’s worth repeating: “If the Black Lives Matter crowd is correct, bloodthirsty, racist cops are blasting black men like clay pigeons at a shooting range. The pace of this alleged slaughter is breathtaking.”
Why hasn’t our media done the necessary research to discover the lies being spewed by the communist backed Black Lives Mater movement? Fear, complicity, political correctness or a combination of all three could be the answer. Deroy Murdock did look into the matter and found a very different story than the one being highlighted in the news as an out of control racist police force in communities all across the nation:
University of Toledo criminologist Dr. Richard R. Johnson examined the latest data from the FBI and Centers for Disease Control.
From 2003 through 2012, law-enforcement officers killed an average of 429 people per year in “legal interventions.” These include a relatively small number of innocent people killed by cops and many more who died due to reasonable use of force.
Clearly the Black Lives Matter narrative is bogus.
Media neglect of the facts has consequences on several fronts: 1. Greater distrust of police officers, 2. Police officers murdered in revenge killings, 3. Intimidated police officer fearful of doing their jobs and crime statistics that hurt black lives disproportionately. read it and weep:
Year to date, homicides are up 8.3 percent in New York, 19.2 percent in Chicago, 51.5 percent in St. Louis and 52.5 percent in Baltimore.
On average, 4,472 black men were killed by other black men annually between Jan. 1, 2009, and Dec. 31, 2012, according to the FBI’s Supplementary Homicide Reports. Using FBI and CDC statistics, Professor Johnson calculates that 112 black men, on average, suffered both justified and unjustified police-involved deaths annually during this period.
This equals 2.5 percent of these 4,472 yearly deaths. For every black man — criminal or innocent — killed by a cop, 40 black men were murdered by other black men.
Unfortunately Murdock’s message will not grab the attention of the media. He isn’t repeating the narrative of the radicals in our nation working to foment hatred, gin up rage, divide the people, and destroy the nation.
Is the media clueless or have they thrown in with those who are out to destroy our nation? It doesn’t really matter. Either way good people of every race across our nation must stand together to expose and defeat unethical journalism. Why? Because black lives matter! White lives matter. Police officers lives matter. People living in dangerous neighborhoods lives matter. Americans that have been targeted for revenge lives matter. Such a simple thing. All lives matter! Truth matters! And yet, agitators, and that would unfortunately include this administration, are doing great harm in the black community, to police officers, and across America…and the media doesn’t care…lives don’t matter to them. Radical left politics does matter.
Truth be told, good journalism matters. Journalists can do harm and they can inform. It’s imperative to be vigilant pilgrims.
Ben Carson, I think we need to do a Psych examination on that one. Besides he is just running to raise his speaking fees and doing some Branding. Who takes 2 weeks off from their presidential campaign to sell books? Newt ran to sell stuff but knew how to multi task at least.

You have some valid points in this article, but when you lie at the same exact time you complain about others’ lying, you weaken your argument. These associations absolutely WERE revealed to the public, and you know that.
“Revealed” is an interesting choice of words. The media talked about the associations but did it defensively…they explained them away. They made veiled remarks about how unfair it was to question these associations. That’s a whole lot different than hounding someone. Palin is the most stark example on the but there are many other examples. The left media treats Democrats with kid gloves and Republicans with ball-peen hammers.
The NYT, after blogs kept bringing up the Ayers issue, finally wrote an article in which they dismissed the association with Ayers as one of “Crossed Paths.”
I’m well aware that you will not soon see the bias. The progressive left media is well practiced in wording to cover their butts. But it’s there and has been for decades.

Black Lives Matter has the constitutional right to fight a serious problem in America.

Simply peruse the crime statistics of any major city or large metropolitan area. “Black” lives do not mean squat, especially to “blacks”. Franky, I am completely fed up with this “Black Lives Matter” political farce. If black lives really mattered, instead of focusing exclusively on a comparatively tiny aberration of police incidents, these “well meaning” folks would be asking themselves why blacks are killing and maiming blacks (and other “races”) in record numbers. Try to do something about that and you will get my attention in a heartbeat. Otherwise, get lost.

There was a faction of the Ferguson police force that were members of the KKK. A Police Force leak is now being kept under wraps to protect the person who gave them up.

I have the names of over 600 KKK members in the USA. Some are cops. The KKK makes no bones about it. They proudly say they have infiltrated many gov and city positions. Get with it!

The media deliberately enforces this “issue” so as to psychological encouragement to dismantle the Police force, and simultaneously cause chaos. Order through chaos if you will. It’s classic divide and conquer tactic.
