House Armed Services Committee Report: President Obama “Broke the Law” and “Misled Congress” in Bergdahl Swap for Five Gitmo Prisoners

BergdhalPosted by Tina

The House Armed Services Committee released a report 108 page report today that asserts the President broke the law when he failed to consult with Congress in the Bergdahl swap. He also kept the Defense Department out of the loop. I believe this is what the left would call “going it alone”

In August of last year the Government Accountability Office also claimed the administration broke the law when they failed to notify Congress in the required “30 days in advance” and also when they used public funds appropriated to a different purpose.

The administration’s excuse was that it was an emergency situation.

Add a few more sheets of paper to the mountainous and growing pile of egregiously illegal and unethical behaviors of this administration which will never be prosecuted or even targeted for disdain.

Should someone be able to prove that Obumble was actually speaking the truth on just about any subject, that story would rate banner headlines around the world!

  2. Harold says:

Yep good ol’ Prez ‘BigZero’ not only did he break the law by not consulting congress, he aided and abetted the enemy by supplying them with weapons of more destruction.

“He basically traded what amounted to 5 nuclear missiles for a nerf gun….”

When I heard that on a newscast I just busted up, and had to share it!

  3. Dewey says:

    Funny,

They all break the law but if they are a republican that’s Ok

Still laughing, have to catch up on this one myself.

I would love to prosecute every Politician who breaks the law, then we would have almost an empty capitol! Start fresh!

And let’s prosecute bush/Cheney admin for their war crimes and Lying to congress in the redacted white paper.

    I say prosecute them all!

“but if they are a republican that’s Ok”

Please expand…enlighten us. When has it been okay for republicans to get away with breaking the law? Have you actual grievances or just a bunch of attitude and talking points?

” let’s prosecute bush/Cheney admin for their war crimes ”

What war crimes? Be specific! What lies? Be specific!
