Why Robots?

Human-RobotPosted by Tina

What is the purpose in bringing human like robots to life? What is the fascination with making robots as “smart” as people? Are humans incapable of doing their own dishes or putting groceries away? Have they somehow lost the ability to do complex calculations with a laptop? Are we so unprepared to work that we need to flood the job market with non-human competition? Really, other than the desire to see if it can be done, what’s going on?

Democrats, Communists, and the rest of the left have been creating flesh and blood human robots for decades. Think Dewey, Chris, and Libby. This, as yet, is a mild diversion.

It strikes me as the kind of thing adult “children” do today to amuse themselves. The Wright brothers amused themselves with the idea of flight and it led to amazing things, even space travel. I was wondering what positives this could lead to. I see the negatives, job losses and less socializing for some people but what are the positives. We already have robots that do dirty/dangerous work and menial tasks. The humanizing element both intrigues and horrifies me, LOL.

I’m really surprised at the lack of interest…to much Trump?
