Trump Responds to Terror Attack in Tel Aviv

Posted by Tina

Donald Trump commented on the terror attack in a market in Tel Aviv, condemning the acts by agents of the “uncivilized world.” He warned that “extremist militant organizations such as Hamas” would find no “refuge” on his watch.

Jerusalem Post has the quotes:

In a statement, Trump said he awaits details of the event, which involved at least three Palestinian perpetrators shooting nine Israeli civilians in a popular Tel Aviv market. Four victims have died.

“Just as fast as the condolences arrive from the civilized world is the praise arising out of the uncivilized one,” Trump said.

“Hamas praised the attack, calling the attackers ‘heroes.’ Reports out of Hebron indicate that residents of the terrorists’ hometown lit up the night sky with celebratory fireworks. One Palestinian ‘news organization’ even referred to the shootings, in which the assailants dressed up as observant Jews, as a ‘Ramadan treat.’ The leader of Hamas called the injured terrorist a ‘hero.'” “How despicable!,” he added.

Trump characterized the American people’s solidarity with Israel as strong and its commitment to Israel’s security as “of paramount importance.”

He seemed to place some blame for the attack not just on Hamas, but on the Palestinian Authority, the local governing body in the West Bank from which the attack’s perpetrators allegedly emerged.

“To address terrorism “— and address it we must!,” he said, “we must recognize the parallel horror of the culture of religious hatred that permeates many Palestinian quarters. From schools that indoctrinate toddlers to grow up to kill Israelis to the daily menu of hate that spews forth from various ‘news organizations,’ change is long overdue in the Palestinian territories.”

“Let us begin the arduous task of creating a future where peace can take root and terror finds no refuge,” he added.

A clear message of support for Israel and absolute intolerance for terrorists and their “uncivilized” activities.

Of course! That is Sheldies Money talking! https://www.casino.org/news/sheldon-adelson-pushes-reported-100-million-donald-trump

We know it is all about Israel when he donates!

    http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/may/20/donald-trump-sheldon-adelson-israel-trip-campaign-donation

Trump also using the prescribed Teleprompter now so they can control his mouth.

You can support Trump but be real about who is really doing the talking. His Big Donors. The establishment as always….. USA is for Sale

    • Tina says:

The other candidate has bigger donors. So?

Big donors in America are also citizens. What do you propose we do, Dewey, infringe on their right to freely associate and politically express themselves?

Puppet “sheeple” like you just mouth the talking points of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren…both supporters Hillary who is getting gobs of campaign cash from Big Corporations, Big Banks and, Big Foreign Leaders Hillary.

      • dewster says:

So? they write legislation for their gain at the expense of the people. Get a clue?

Fiscal responsibility? or billions to Israel to kill Palestinians?

Tina are you really this clueless? we are a fascist nation. The DNC has the comcast/wall street coup in place. They are deciding the platform.

The GOP is still fighting but will have theirs.

You have to grow up some day. Do the research. Stop following propaganda written for you. The facts are actual documents and actions that happen. Not some paid media hacks article.

Ya think the DNC stealing an election then building a wall around the convention center 2 days later over a month before is normal? No they are cheating in plain view and telling voters too bad. That is wall street and Comcast convention not for the people.

Hope the GOP does open carry and puts in Trump then both sides can have a party!

        • Tina says:

“billions to Israel to kill Palestinians?”

You can look at it that way but I imagine if you lived next to a family that kept lobbing grenades into your yard, killing your kids, you’d fight back.

Between the Israelis and the Palestinians there is only one that has vowed to drive the other into the sea. There is only one that teaches it’s children to hate the other and strap bombs to themselves for the cause of murder and driving the other into the sea. There is only one that teaches it’s children the other has no right to exist.

Until that stops there is no reason to think there will ever be peace and no reason to respect a people that tolerates and celebrates terrorist leaders that oppress the people of Palestine and terrorize the people of Israel.

Israel has said they do not need our money. They are our only reliable ally in the region and certainly the only ally that respects the basic rights of citizens Arab or Jew.They are surrounded by hostile nations so I don;t regret our contribution to them. Much of it comes back to us in the form of new technology anyway.

Setting that aside we also give money to the Palestinians:

Since the establishment of limited Palestinian self-rule in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in the mid-1990s, the U.S. government has committed more than $5
billion in bilateral economic and non-lethal security assistance to the Palestinians, who are among the world’s largest per capita recipients of international foreign aid. Successive Administrations have requested aid for the Palestinians in apparent support of at least three major U.S. policy priorities of interest to Congress:

Promoting the prevention or mitigation of terrorism against Israel from Hamas
          and other militant organizations.

Fostering stability, prosperity, and self-governance in the West Bank that may incline
Palestinians toward peaceful coexistence with Israel and a “two-state solution.”

          Meeting humanitarian needs.

          Grow up yourself.

“Ya think the DNC stealing an election then building a wall around the convention center 2 days later over a month before is normal? ”

Yes for the Democrats at least since the sixties this has been their MO but actually it goes back to Chicago in the nineteen thirties when the machine was built by Alinsky taking lessons from his mafia buddy and the socialists ideals festering in Europe: ” Flexibility to changing tactics, rather than rigid adherence to principle, was the Alinskyite hallmark of successful activism.”

You need to figure out who runs the Democrat Party and while you’re peeking over that wall keep in mind nobody will be able to get into the convention without showing ID either.

You keep trying to draw equivalencies where there are none.

While it’s true crooks can be found in either party there is only one party dominated and led by a crooked political machine that seeks to supplant individual rights and replace them with communal rights as determined by the select few…”some pigs are more equal than others.” (George Orwell) This machine has infiltrated our schools, the press, the legal and medical arena, and the entertainment industry. There’s the majority of the propaganda that so concerns you.

I’m not your enemy. I work to preserve the one document that is most important to every individual American. I post articles so we can discuss the issues, not as writs written in stone. Try to keep that in mind.

          • Dewster says:

            Tina

            Our TAXES not ISRAELS!

            WE suffer here
You should do reseach and document I do exactly that.

Document does not mean read Blogs. It means dig up the actual documents.

A True Citizen today has no party Tina. They are Both gone, corrupt, and they think we are stupid. Easy to manipulate. And they are correct.

really go get a job in DC. I did. I get it more now than ever. If I could have been a fly on the wall!

  2. Chris says:

Some less presidential comments from the Donald, circa 2003:

““Now, somebody who a lot of people don’t give credit to but is in actuality very beautiful is Paris Hilton,” Trump told Stern. “I’ve known Paris Hilton from the time she’s 12, her parents are friends of mine, and the first time I saw her she walked into the room and I said, ‘Who the hell is that?’ At 12, I wasn’t interested… but she was beautiful.” He also admitted to watching Paris Hilton’s sex tape with Knauss, despite knowing her since the age of 12 and being very close friends with the Hilton Family.”

But sure. Clinton is worse because emails or something.

    • Tina says:

      Emails or something?

Chris, you know better than that. She is under federal investigation for breaking the law and compromising our security and the lives of operatives in the field. the investigation has grown and expanded to include the possibility of quid pro quo agreements under the table, in secret, which she conspired to hide, through her private server. The evidence we already know about is enough to convict her…it convicted General Petraeus!

But we’ve been through that and we know you will deny that this is reason to block her bid for the presidency. that’s just how “ethical” YOU are!

      • Chris says:

Tina, I know all that; I was being glib.

She’s still better than a creepy misogynist. (And yes, I know you think Bill is a misogynist. You KNOW Donald is, though, because he displays his misogyny openly.)

        • Tina says:

All symbolism right Chris? It’s the seriousness of the charge and all charges are the same…Lord you people are tiring. Your so called ethics rules are so convoluted and foggy it’s a wonder your heads don’t explode!

  3. Libby says:

Hamas is indeed despicable. It is also Israel’s creation.

Until Israel realizes this, nothing changes.

This is not a simple situation and we cannot have a simpleton dealing with it.

    • Dewster says:

      Well said.

Also Israel has GAZA blocked off. Turns off their power in the heat. These people are surrounded. I think we need to put Republicans in a city where they can not get out. Control all the power and food to the city. Then Bomb the heck out of them.

HAMAS is bad they throw a grenade and then Israel bombs them for days? No one can leave? Innocent children are dying

Why do we pay for any of this? We have to cut cut cut here and spend spend spend there?

  4. Tina says:

Oh great historian, please enlighten us. How is Israel responsible for an Arab campaign to EXTERMINATE the Jews?

  5. Libby says:

Short course: Everybody knew back in ’48 that creating Israel was going to create problems. But Israel’s contributions had not been anticipated.

    1) Israel wins the initial conflicts, hands down.

    2) But … then … Israel instigates the Arab Palestinian flight.

    3) Surrounding nations, having lost militarily, were presented, by the Israelis, with the means to fight politically and refused to take in the refugees.

    4) Twenty years of misery and carnage.

    5) We, us American citizens, knew nothing of the truth of this until about thirty years ago, when it became apparent that, having scotched any possibility of repatriation, Israel was going to have to grant statehood to Palestinians on the West Bank … which they have steadfastly refused to do.

    6) Which is not to say that there are not still Arab Israelis. There are. And soon they will outnumber Jewish Israelis, and Israel, as a Jewish state, will cease to exist.

They know this. But don’t expect them to take it quietly, which is where the real nuclear threat in the Middle East reposes.

  6. Tina says:

    2) But … then … Israel instigates the Arab Palestinian flight.

You call that an explanation of the history? It is nothing but a single sentence ascribing blame. Sorry old girls you’re going to have to do better than that.

“Israel was going to have to grant statehood to Palestinians on the West Bank … which they have steadfastly refused to do. ”

That is utter hogwash. The Israelis have agreed to concessions and the formation of a Palestinian state several times but the various power factions, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, ultimately REFUSED, as they always do, to recognize Israels right to exist.

Until these factions change the language in their charters it will always be so.

The only option left to Israel, and indeed now the entire world, is absolutely decimation and defeat of terrorist organizations followed by a strong presence where necessary to support the creation of a more civilized governing body, winning the peace. (The Bush strategy which was tossed out the window putting us at square one)

The days of empire building are long over. America provided a better model, visible in Germany, South Korea, Japan and free nations that were once part of the old Soviet block. The same could happen in the ME but for the lefts undermining and ignorant, bigoted delusions

  7. Libby says:

“You call that an explanation of the history? It is nothing but a single sentence ….”

You want a great wealth of detail, hit the library. That is what happened. Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt made it worse on purpose, but the Palestinian flight was at Israel’s instigation.

And I mean, “right to exist”? You think, really, that this was ever a deal breaker? I swear, half the planet never leaves the schoolyard. You ever heard of “sticks and stones”? “We exist. Deal with it. Or we’ll stomp you again.”

Palestinian statehood would have been an asset in this. As a matter of yer geopolitical rep, stomping an attacking state looks a lot better than the interminable brutalizing of an occupied people.

But granting statehood to a people on territory containing a large aquifer, the water in which you cannot do without, and that you would prefer to own yourself, well, it’s just not going to happen, is it?

  8. Tina says:

“You ever heard of “sticks and stones”? “We exist. Deal with it. Or we’ll stomp you again.””

That’s the position Netanyahu takes and you on the left have nothing but unkind words and derision for the man. Obummer snubs and insults him and Netanyahu has the same retort for him.

As far as water or any other basic need you need to get with the program. If the Palestinians (Arabs) would set aside their monumental pride and ego, and lay down their swords they could live peacefully, side by side, because the Israelis would share resources and , technology to make life worth living for the poor wretches.

On a 6-acre site north of San Diego overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the Western Hemisphere’s largest desalination plant is set to begin operating this month. And on the plant’s grounds, amid the buzzing generators and whooshing sounds of water, there’s Hebrew in the air — lots of it.

The $1 billion plant in Carlsbad was built and designed by Poseidon Water and IDE Technologies, an Israeli desalination company owned by Delek and Israel Chemicals that sent some of its engineers and designers to Carlsbad to bring the plant online. The San Diego County Water Authority (SDCWA) entered into a water purchase agreement with Poseidon in 2012 so that desalinated seawater could become a component of the county’s mix of water sources, one that will provide extremely reliable (if expensive) insurance against water scarcity (because ocean water will always be available for treatment, while other sources rely upon rain or recycled water). The desalinated water is expected to provide about 7 percent of San Diego County’s water needs, which include its current sourcing from the Colorado River, Northern California, recycled water and elsewhere.

During a recent tour of the new Carlsbad plant, Israeli engineers and plant designers for IDE were working hand in hand with American engineers and deck hands as IDE and Poseidon prepared for an October launch, at which point the plant is expected to provide 50 million gallons per day of clean drinking water to SDCWA’s service area of 3.2 million people.

The Israeli’s turned a desert into a garden and their heritage is built around the Mitzfah: a precept or commandment; a good deed done from religious duty.

Maybe you need to “hit” the library, Libs.

And that sticks and stones thingy…that’s a staple of conservative thought. You on the left traded it in for social engineering, PC, mediation, and anger management…a poor substitute with a lousy record.

An aside: The money we send to Israel? It bears fruit for America!

  9. Libby says:

Israel was well on its way to garden when, for reasons passing understanding, it opted for a
    walled, barbed-wired, check-pointed, misery of a country.

And did you hear about Netty’s bribery troubles? Provisioning his comfortable retirement, no doubt, far, far away from the mess he’s made.

  10. Dewster says:

BTW Tina Remember the USS Liberty? That was no accident.
