Donald Trump wins officially. His youngest son cast the votes for the state of New York:
New York put him over the top in the delegate count Tuesday night at the Republican National Convention.
Donald Trump’s son Donald Jr. cast the final votes his father needed. The younger Trump was on the floor and told the excited activists in the auditorium that New York was casting 89 votes for Trump and six for Ohio Gov. John Kasich.
He then shouted out: “Congratulations, Dad, we love you.”
Donald Jr. says he’s watched as his father has built a movement and he says that movement has given Americans a voice again.
Also on the convention floor are some of Donald Trump’s other children, including Eric Trump and Ivanka Trump.
Delegates on the floor broke into cheers and waved signs as the song “New York, New York” played at the Quicken Loans Arena.
Michigan passed its turn to allow New York to cast the defining delegates. Its delegates would be formally assigned later.
At this time the delegate count is incomplete but Trump has well over 1600 of 1237 needed, more than enough to be declared the candidate.

Watched ABC Evening News last night (the lesser of the alphabet media’s evils), and it was full of supposed plagiarism stories on Melania, yet NOT ONE WORD about Sheriff Clark’s, Sean Smith’s mother’s speech or Guiliani’s barn-burner. David Muir and ABC owes an apology to their viewers.
