Early reports indicate that at least 14 people were injured, some taken to hospital, following an explosion in the Chelsea area of Manhattan. The explosion was sourced to an IED left in a dumpster. Windows were shattered in the explosion which may account for the injuries. A second IED has been found and evacuations were ordered in the area.

The explosion, described by one neighbor as “deafening,” happened outside the Associated Blind Housing facility at 135 W. 23rd Street. The facility provides housing, training and other services for the blind.
According to police radio transmissions, the people inside the facility have been initially told to remain inside as police began their investigation.
Two buildings to the east of the facility were being evacuated. No fires have been reported, but multiple emergency vehicles, including ambulances, rushed to the scene

A Muslim stabbed nine non-Muslims in a Minnesota mall, and you know what that means as far as the mainstream media is concerned: Muslims are victims. Hamas-linked CAIR has been quick to claim victim status, whining about an anti-Muslim “backlash” that seldom, if ever, materializes after Islamic jihad attacks. And Minnesota’s governor is calling for “religious and racial tolerance,” which is always demanded of the victims and targets of jihad, never of its perpetrators.
