Finished this morning. Acrylic on canvas, 24X30, depicting a Greek church that I saw in a photograph. I liked the color contrasts and the clean, simple, spartan-like appearnce with the unmistakable impression that this is a cloudless, warm, summer day. Note, the top dome that almost blends into the sky? So, my challenge was make this painting as accurate as possible and let me tell you, painting straight and gentle curving lines, well, that’s always a challenge for me. Getting it dimensional, not so much, thanks to my drafting background. Thanks for looking!
PS As usual any comments good or bad are welcome. It’s all part of the learning process.
