How filthy is San Francisco? An NBC Bay Area Investigation reveals a dangerous mix of drug needles, garbage, and feces throughout downtown San Francisco. The Investigative Unit surveyed 153 blocks of the city – the more than 20-mile stretch includes popular tourist spots like Union Square and major hotel chains. The area – bordered by Van Ness Avenue, Market Street, Post Street and Grant Avenue – is also home to City Hall, schools, playgrounds, and a police station.
“We see poop, we see pee, we see needles, and we see trash,” said teacher Adelita Orellana. “Sometimes they ask what is it, and that’s a conversation that’s a little difficult to have with a 2-year old, but we just let them know that those things are full of germs, that they are dangerous, and they should never be touched.”
In light of the dangerous conditions, part of Orellana’s responsibilities now include teaching young children how to avoid the contamination.
A slip and fall because you accidentally stepped on a large mass of human poop is bad enough, but consider when the poop is dry it becomes airborne, then it can be inhaled and that is a deadly risk. The myriad of diseases associated with human feces can make your walking adventure in SF truly life threatening. The needles, the poop, the urine, ….think of the health risk, think of the children that are exposed to this every day. Isn’t it time for liberal San Franciscans to pony up, buy all these homeless an apartment and pay for their medical, food and clothing? After all, if it saves just one child isn’t it worth it?
The “liberal created” homeless problem can be traced back to 2008 when a noticeable number of transients from across the United States were encouraged to migrate to sunny California and the good life. CA had fair weather, a liberal state government, lots of safety nets and ample free stuff. Compared to most other States California was utopia! Over the years that followed CA’s soft touch reputation and liberal welfare policies have created a virtual exodus of bums to the golden state.
Currently one out of every three homeless now lives in California. San Francisco, long the bastion of liberalism, has been inundated with the homeless. They have seen the public works cleanup cost double in the last two years. Currently the City spends about 60 million dollars a year on cleanup and this does not begin to keep pace with influx of new homeless and new trash arriving every day.
Lots of warning signs were ignored, for instance this one from 2016..

It moved one visitor from Texas to write a letter. David Cochrane said the amount of trash in the streets made him embarrassed to be an American.
He sent it to Board of Supervisors President London Breed. And her staff released a response saying: “If you’re embarrassed to be an American, then you’re barking up the wrong tree here buddy. Why don’t you write a letter to the editor of whatever town you’re from, if your panties are in a bunch?”
So, he wrote a letter to the San Francisco Chronicle.
After reading it, Breed apologized, investigated, and said the anonymous response came from an intern, who’s been told not to come back.”
Trust me. Nobody is calling it “Utopia”. Me poor mother gets visited at scandalously long intervals, cause I have to be in a really good mood before I’ll venture across that bridge.

The 150 blocks make up the Tenderloin … not downtown. And the Tenderloin has always been, how shall I say? … the Tenderloin. And I mean … always … so there is no blaming the mess on any particular political caste. It is all mental illness, drug addiction and poverty … and the merely impoverished, mostly immigrants, get the hell out just as soon as they can.
However, any tourist who goes sauntering up Eddy Street is gonna see things they’d rather not, so, just don’t do that.
And, if you want to give up some of your Ag Subsidy, so we can have more money for street cleaning, that would be totally cool.
Libby your ability to deny the influence and later the consequences of left thinking is astounding.
You imagine that you are compassionately caring for the poor when you promote big government solutions but it only encourages dependency and sloth. At the same time your political friends glorify and romanticize debased lifestyles…”recreational”drug use, promiscuous sex, blatant disregard for life, and in general needy victimization.
Of course these things have led to the destruction of the basic building blocks for a healthy functioning society. What you’ve created over time is an abundance, rather than a very small percentage, of citizens unmotivated and incapable to care for themselves responsibly much less contribute.
Prior to the Great Society and the radical left social experiment American families were strong and children were raised in an atmosphere of personal responsibility and respect for the law. Citizens had expectations of one another to pull ones weight, to study and work to become productive, to comport themselves in public with dignity and respect for others, and to revere the sanctity of life, the family and the home.
You socialist hippy types turned all of that on it’s head with the hugely impractical fantasy of creating a “better” (Utopean) society.
Heads up! Your ideas have failed miserably!! We are all reaping the whirlwind of the severely dysfunctional populace that now litters our streets and often dies, alone in the cold dark night. Many of the rest of us are not homeless but still unproductive and needy.

Tucker Carlson last night (Tuesday) had a segment showing a video shot from a bicycle riding down a path in Orange County that had homeless encampments, trash and filth on both sides of the path. It went for MILES!

UC Berkeley’s test compare SF streets to 3rd world countries.
“The survey results led a University of California, Berkeley infectious disease expert to compare downtown San Francisco to slums in developing countries.
“The contamination is … much greater than communities in Brazil or Kenya or India,” Dr. Lee Riley told the station. Riley added that discarded needles could cause HIV and Hepatitis B and C, while dried feces can cause potentially dangerous viruses.”

Subject: Benefits Question
Dear Sir,
I have a very complicated benefits question. Many years ago, I married a widow who had an 18 year old daughter. After the wedding, my father, a widower, came to visit a number of times, and he fell in love with my step daughter. My father eventually married her without my authorization.
As a result my step-daughter became my step mother and my father became my son in law.
My father’s wife (also my step daughter) and my step-mother, gave birth to a son who is my grandchild because I am the husband of my step daughter’s mother. This boy is also my brother, as the son of my father.
As you can see, my wife became a grandmother, because she is the mother of my father’s wife. Therefore it appears that I am also my wife’s grandchild. A short time after these events, my wife gave birth to a son, who became my father’s brother-in-law, the step-son of my father’s wife, and my uncle. My son is also my step mother’s brother, and through my step-mother, my wife has become a grandmother and I have become my own grandfather.
In light of the above mentioned, I would like to know the following: Does my son, who is also my uncle, my father’s son-in-law, and my step mother’s brother fulfill the requirements for receiving childcare benefits?
