I strongly recommend a NO vote on the first 4:
Proposition 1A – NO
Proposition 1B – NO
Proposition 1C – NO
Proposition 1D – NO
After that you are on your own, I see it as a mixed bag, I’ll probably vote for E and F just to mess with the system! It’s a robbing of Peter to Paul kind of logic.
Proposition 1E – ?
Proposition 1F – ?
My reasoning is simple, the more money we give to government, the more they waste. Look at what we spend on education and look at the product! It’s an outrage!
If they can’t run this state on $100 billion a year there is something seriously wrong in Sacramento. What they are really telling us is we have too many government offices doing what the private sector should do under contract. At least half of what the State is doing now could be done cheaper, faster and better in the private sector, think of the savings! We could turn this state around and do it almost overnight if we trusted more in free enterprise and competitive bidding to get things done, rather than wasteful government bureaucracies.
New Zealand went through an economic crisis quite similar to ours and this is what saved them. NZ turned red ink into a budget surplus with a better run infrastructure from parks to highways through privatization and competition.
This is the time we must redefine and limit the role of government! This is the time that we must say…. stop the waste, fraud and abuse! We must take a firm stand to protect our freedoms from the encroachment of socialism.
We don’t need new taxes…we need a government that is more effective, more transparent, and more accountable. We do this tomorrow by saying NO to new taxes, NO MORE! Vote NO on Proposition 1A, 1B, 1C and 1D! NO, NO, NO, NO!
