Have you heard about this National 912 project? This looks like a real good grass roots movement to hold government more accountable and for all the right reasons. Their near term goal is to gather as many patriots as possible to meet up in Washington D.C. on September the 12th and demand more from government than we have been getting. What they are demanding can be found in the group’s statement on core values and principles.
The core values of the 912 project are: Honesty, Reverence, Hope, Thrift, Charity, Sincerity, Moderation, Hard Work, Courage, Personal Responsibility and Gratitude.
Principles of this group are: America Is Good. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday. The family is sacred. I am the ultimate authority over my life, not the government. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want too, government should not force me. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
If you agree with at least 7 of the above you’re a good 912 candidate.
As their webpage says, these principle and values are essential to building and keeping a strong country. They feel these things have been lost and must be restored before America can improve and return to be the kind of country our founding fathers would be proud of. If you would like to know more, check out this website, but I should warn you it’s a work in progress and you may find some minor errors or mistakes, but the intent is still right on:
