Well it took long enough but today the arrogant FBI agent who collaborated to exonerate Hillary Clinton so she could run for president, conspired with others to destroy Trump’s bid for president, and then, after Trump won, worked overtime to destroy the Trump presidency has been fired. I hope he’s also feeling enough heat to lawyer up.
The IG report is likely the basis for Strzok’s firing:
The Department of Justice Inspector General report on the Hillary investigation was highly critical of Strzok, stating that his texts “potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions were impacted by bias or improper considerations,” and added that Strzok’s behavior “not only indicative of a biased state of mind but, even more seriously, implies a willingness to take official action to impact the presidential candidate’s electoral prospects.” The report found that Strzok’s decision to prioritize the Russia investigation over the Hillary investigation could have been biased: “Under these circumstances, we did not have confidence that Strzok’s decision to prioritize the Russia investigation over following up on the Midyear-related investigative lead discovered on the Weiner laptop was free from bias.” The report concluded that Strzok’s activities were “antithetical to the core values of the FBI and the Department of Justice.”
At this point we do not know what this means for the Mueller investigation and related matters. Key questions include: Was information gathered improperly? Were FISA warrants improperly ordered and obtained? Can anything be done regarding the sham investigation and exoneration in the Hillary email case? Is the entire Mueller investigation a sham, as President Trump has suggested?
Given the warrants to spy on Carter Page (Trump campaign) were largely based on the phony Steele dossier obtained through corrupt means and misrepresented to the FISA judge, I’d say the President has a point.
The time has come for the whole ugly mess to see the light of day. This firing is appropriate but it certainly doesn’t satisfy the need for full disclosure of the corruption and criminality of the sordid group that conspired to manipulate and control the outcome of the election of 2016…and perhaps continues to this day in the form of the Mueller team “investigation.”

They have the ability to report they just choose not to. Fake news is fake for what they withhold as well as what they deceitfully report or spin.
“They have the ability to report they just choose not to. Fake news is fake for what they withhold as well as what they deceitfully report or spin.“
Funny you should say that. On Aug. 6, The ER ran an editorial telling us how upset they were that Trump called the media “The enemy of the people.” In the last paragraph of the editorial, they demonstrated their intention to be unbiased, saying “Criticism of the media is fair, and welcome….etc., etc.”
The next day I emailed my response, written in my customary respectful and non-confrontational manner. As of now, my letter has not appeared. I’m guessing there must be a longer than usual waiting list.
The long established media refuses to get that it is fake news that is the enemy of the state, as Trump has indicated many times.
Good for the ER for at least acknowledging our First Amendments rights, including that of the press.
Not long after Trump was elected he was speaking to members of the media and he very respectfully told them his position on media coverage of him. He said criticism of him was okay with him, as long as it was honest and factual. What he objects to is political bias deceitfully passed off as news. He calls it fake news and he’s right. All of those who engage in widespread fake news heard this very clear message, none have even attempted to cover him straight.
Trumps point is well made. The American people rely on straight, honest, in-depth reporting. Without it our nation is as low as any dictatorships with their state controlled propaganda machines. Conditions in the established media should send up raging red flags for any American.
Our free nation is neither Fascist nor Marxist, that’s an old European battle that should have no place here, but the radical socialist left, including their press, are hell bent on destroying our republic. That’s the real reason they hate Trump, he’s a threat to their socialist (Marxist, Fascist) plans.
Fake news sources are dying…falling market share. They can’t lie and lie and lie in America without it’s being noticed.
“Good for the ER for at least acknowledging our First Amendments rights, including that of the press.”
I think you may have missed my point. The following is the letter I wrote to the editor, which they did not print. This isn’t the first time they have censored me, and for the same reason. They don’t want anyone to read what I said. this was in response to their editorial of 8/6.
“I see the ER editorial writers are hurt when Trump calls the press “the enemy of the people.”
I don’t blame them. I believe there’s a saying about what sort of information hurts.
The majority of news reports, written or televised, give us what I’m sure reporters feel is what the people need to know. How can the press be the enemy of the people as long as they’re feeding us what they believe to be in our best interest?
If the president says or does something unsatisfactory, it’s up to the helpful, unbiased press to point it out. Often. As often as possible, to make sure everyone gets it. Like shampooing. Wash, rinse, repeat.
If the president accidently does something useful, like fixing the economy, repairing a broken Supreme Court, bringing old enemies to the table, restoring our military, insisting on having a functional immigration system, insisting our allies pay their debts, etc., etc., etc., there’s no point is wasting too much energy there. Our totally honest and impartial press should continue to focus on helping him to improve his politically incorrect behavior.
“Enemy of the people” is too harsh. If he really wants to be a nice guy, our irreverent, disrespectful president should cool the rhetoric and start taking the advice of our infallible press before making important decisions. And stop hurting their feelings.”
Please note there are no ad hominems, no vulgarity, no reason to censor me except that the ER doesn’t want the public to read what I say. Enemy of the people?
The ER editorial board members are left-leaning (with the possible exception of David Little,) self-contradicting, inconsistent hypocrites (which includes Little) when it comes to their self-touted editorial policy.
My style was confrontational but accepted. Then David Little refused a letter of mine because the exchange between me and several other letter writers had become “to personal and not of general interest.”
Fair enough, until three days later the ER published a letter on that same issue which was directly aimed at me, personally. I should have expected this sort of inconsistent double-standard lunacy from the ER. They are all professional journalists, after all.
Little did the same again to me earlier this year yet has no problem publishing personal attack letters from the Self-Aggrandizing Sociopathic Socialist Weasel Jesus Of The Homeless, Patrick Newman. (Newman has personally attacked, questioned the motives of, and slandered everyone from members of the City Council, to the Jesus Center, to Anthony Watts.)
I won’t fight both the ER and the left-wing loons they champion in the letters section. It was amusing for a while, but grew stale. I’m done with the ER except for this bit of sponsored discussion.
The ER should have been dead to me after they published a slander of Anthony from the horrid Newman moron, but I foolishly stuck around. Oh, well, some folks are a great disappointment and there is nothing to be done about it.
Addendum to “the exchange between me and several other letter writers” above.
This had actually happened to me several times. The local letter writing left-wing squad would get into a “pile on” over something I had put forth. I would try to respond to each but then would get shut down. An effective technique for silencing, no? I am squelched because “there has been enough written on this issue.”
Uh, OK. In any case, I can see some sense and reason in to it. Letters should not become an extended personal exchange battleground, unless your name is Patrick Newman.
Dang. Now I have to go pay for an online subscription!
And Pie, you do know that you are inclined to get personal. If this: “Self-Aggrandizing Sociopathic Socialist Weasel Jesus Of The Homeless, Patrick Newman” was in the letter, Mr. Little has a point.
The vocabulary has improved, but the mindset … alas … you sound just like the Chico Tax Lady who got banned …. Juanita … I haven’t check in on Juanita in months!
Later.
Hey, I was just trying to one up Newman here for fun with an exaggerated satirical stylization of him. Of course, you don’t get it. You have neither the intellect nor intellectual curiosity to get it. Newman has made repeated personal attacks in the against everyone he disagrees with and the ER happily prints them. If I pull a Newman on Newman I am shut down. Funny how that works.
Now, go buy a subscription. (You won’t.)
As Foghorn Leghorn might say, “Lippy, you are about as subtle as a hand grenade in a barrel of oatmeal.”

How many more Stzroks are left over in Comey’s corrupted deep state FBI? Why does Lisa Page still have a job?
Pie, Lisa Page resigned in May after being demoted earlier when emails between she and her paramour Strzok came out.
Congress has sent criminal referrals to AG Sessions for former FBI Director James Comey; former Asst. FBI Director Andrew McCabe; former Attorney General Loretta Lynch; former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; “former” FBI Agent Peter Strzok; and former DOJ Attorney Lisa Page (former Special Counsel to Andrew McCabe) so we don’t know what may be going on behind the scenes to build cases.
Lisa Page also finally cooperated with Congress and “offered new information” in her 2 days of testimony.
The CNN watching left has a lot of catching up to do…the shock when it all comes out may end them.
Thanks. I wasn’t aware she resigned. Now she can go get hired by the Democrats.
Director Comey: Fired
Dep Dir McCabe: Fired
Chief Counsel Baker: demoted, left
Chief of Staff Rybicki: left FBI
Counsel Page: demoted, then left
Dep Dir of Counterintel Strzok: demoted, Fired
And counting . . . . . . . . .
“… he arrogant FBI agent who collaborated to exonerate Hillary Clinton so she could run for president, conspired with others to destroy Trump’s bid for president, and then, after Trump won, worked overtime to destroy the Trump presidency has been fired.”
Tina … he emailed his girlfriend. That’s it. That’s all of it. So take your anti-conspiracy pill.
Soon, historians and satirists will be having a high old time documenting humanity’s adjustment to the internet in many social spheres. But it is a long-standing proscription, law enforcement is suppose to stay out of politics … publicly, anyway. If you must vent to your girlfriend, do it in the living room, not on the internet. We’ll get the hang of it … eventually.
“he emailed his girlfriend. That’s it. That’s all of it. ”
We’ve posted details…documented details…but you aren’t interested. Still…
No citizen of the United States would get away with the things this bunch have done…no Republican would either.
Stzrok’s hand is everywhere in the corruption. The emails are damning given what we know about his behavior.
He oversaw the FBI’s interviews of former National Security Adviser, General Michael Flynn..(Other FBI agents could see no there, there.)
He was responsible for changing Comey’s language about Hillary Clinton’s actions regarding her illicit email server from “grossly negligent,” a legal term, to “extremely careless.” (They actually thought they could read that long list of grossly negligent and obstructionist activities and we’d buy that the word careless made it somehow different!)
He played a lead role in the FBI’s (phony) interview of Clinton. She wasn’t under oath and she was allowed to have two of her co-conspirators in the room with her acting as her lawyers. (Poor little girl) Then they asked questions like, “You didn’t do it did you,” and let the criminal walk.
He’s suspected of being responsible for using the unverified dossier to obtain a FISA warrant in order to spy on President Trump’s campaign, which involves lies of omission…lying to the judge!!!
None of the above is in keeping with normal practices within the FBI.
Hillary was supposed to win…she didn’t. Now these b’tards are exposed, which explains the anger and seething hatred.
But you keep watching the Dem protectors and apologists in your media and remain forever dumb and happy as a clam tucked into the sand!
Tina, Mr. Flynn plead guilty. Would he have plead if there was nothing to plead to? I don’t think that’s possible … to plead to something you have not been charged with?
And then, there is nothing suspected about that footnote in the FISA warrant. There it is.
Paranoid fantasies, fed to you, no less, are not persuasive.
“Would he have plead if there was nothing to plead to?”
It happens all the time. A long extended court battle is costly. As it is Flynn lost his house.
Scooter Libby went to jail.
It’s disgusting.
“…there is nothing suspected about that footnote in the FISA warrant.”
Wrong again.
It was not disclosed to the judge that the unverified Steele dossier, used to acquire the warrant, was a product of a paid operative of the Hillary campaign and the DNC. It was not disclosed that an article in Yahoo, by Michael Isikoff, which focused on Page’s July 2016 trip to Moscow does not corroborate the Steele dossier because it is derived from information leaked by Steele himself to Yahoo News.
Rep. Devin Nunes, House Intelligence Committee Chairman, issued a memo regarding their investigation that was proven accurate when the warrant was finally released.
The American Thinker:
The group of scum weaponized law enforcement for political reasons. If you think law enforcement is, “suppose to stay out of politics … publicly, anyway” then these revelations should bother you greatly. At the very least your curiosity should be peaked.
There are two types of lying – outright lying and lying by omission. The Fake News Lefties practice both on a daily basis.
Good thing there are OTHER news sources than the Alphabet Networks, BSDNC, CNN, and those 100+ newspapers who are coordinating attacks on TheDonald.
“… coordinating attacks on The Donald.”
You wish. All we have to do is print the tweets.
The Omarosa batch are a hoot. The leader of the free world sounds just like vintage Pie.
Obvious that Lippy doesn’t read anything other than Slate . . . .
https://www.breitbart.com/big-journalism/2018/08/13/nolte-128-establishment-news-outlets-coordinate-attack-on-trump/
My “c0ordinating” remark stands!
Democrats, their media, their entertainers, their comedians, their teachers and professors, their fashion designers and writers, their wealthy Silicon Valley Robber Barons all use Trumps defensive Tweets as cover for their own nasty unprofessional negative coverage and commentary of the President.
Then they claim the high road…pathetic!
Defensive?
Dog?
No, Tina.
Yes Libby!
This woman accused Trump of being racist. Does she even now the meaning of the word?
Dog is a mild term for someone who plays fast and loose with security and engages in political opposition spy games with her boss for personal financial gain and the hope of becoming a media star.
Rat is a much better fit. Yeah…a dirty rat!
I resoundingly repudiate and reject Trump’s crass characterization of Omarose Onee Manigault-Newman as a dog.
Dogs are a noble species known for their intelligent, loving, faithful, forgiving, loyal, and heroic natures. From
helpers of the disabled, to protectors of the epileptic, to detectors of a cancer, to sniffers of illegal drugs, to finders of people trapped in rubble, to aides in law enforcement, to that happy pooch who eagerly greets you home every day — they are pleasant, useful and admirable creatures who deserve our respect and kindness.
Newman has none of these characteristics nor attributes. She is no dog.
Neither are you Lippy.
“Dogs are a noble species ….”
Don’t tell me, Pie. Tell your Prezzy.
Like vintage Pie, eh Lippy? Projection Lippy, projection. If anything, he is stealing from your playbook. Do you EVER listen to yourself, Lippy? (Sorry, stupid question.)
Really Pie, do you think anyone really listens to Lippy, let alone accept the negative aspects of her posts, which more and more regurgitate her liberal shopworn rhetoric.
I’ll figure your question was meant to be rhetorical, and I would not classify it so much as stupid, as it simply underscores the monotonous flow of hate she echoes.
Strzok was cut from the same cloth as Comey. Time will tell how many more were too. Their legacies will be the destruction of the FBI’s reputation as is Hoover’s.
I don’t want the Mueller investigation to end. We’re learning so much more with it continuing. Thank God for Judicial Watch. Without him we’d still be as uninformed as our own elected reps in congress. Watching Mueller dig his own grave is actually quite entertaining. The pressure is on him to find a crime to charge Trump with. After two years of not finding a crime people are beginning to understand why he can’t and at the same time the real criminals are being exposed.
My understanding the reason Strzok was fired instead of accepting the IG’s recommendation had to do with his lying to congress and his involvement with the FISA warrant.
Expect the next one to be escorted out of the building will be Rod Rosenstein. He can’t be a subject and prosecutor on the same case.
You got that right, Peggy. Rosenstein is probably next to go.
Good article by Paul Craig Roberts at Foreign Policy Journal, “The Law as a Weapon”:
The Clinton Obama government has certainly used the law as a weapon and continue to do so every chance they get.
It’s disgraceful, and damaging to our nation. Weed them all out!
Read something late last night that indicated Rosenstein may have been duped…can’t recall the source but it will all come out in the wash. too many high level people are aware of the criminality and goings on.
A former FBI special agent addresses the bad conduct of Strzok, Commey, and McCabe at Fox News, “Former FBI official: Firing Strzok was justified – he, Comey and McCabe disgraced the FBI”
He would know.
