Woman Sentenced to 4 Years for Making 1000 Fake ID’s and Related Crimes

Martha Buendia-Chavarria, a Mexican National aged 44, was residing in Marion, Ohio, collecting benefits, and running a false ID mill that produced at least 1000 false documents. Investigators caught up with her in 2017. “Numerous false identification documents, five handwritten ledgers containing other peoples’ names, dates of birth and Social Security numbers, and in some cases, who the identity was sold to,” were found in a warranted raid on her premises. She plead guilty to charges of “possession with intent to transfer false identity documents, possession of document-making implements, false claim of citizenship to obtain benefits and aggravated identity theft. She’ll have four years to learn new tricks and hone her skills in prison on our dime.

This is one reason E-Verify doesn’t work and why employers would be better served by Congress building the wall and reforming immigration law.

America has too many incentives enticing people to come illegally to our country. One report showed in California illegals from China are making there way into our overly generous and welcoming state. Florida has the same problem only there it is Russians. Democrats are intent on keeping the incentives and adding more…eliminating ICE, open borders, free health care, education, and housing, and sanctuary for criminals. What’s not to like?

Our roaring economy now acts as a magnet but I can’t think of a single thinking American that would consider that a bad thing. According to TownHall’s Guy Benson via CNBC, wages and salaries have jumped by 3.1%, the highest level in a decade. Reports over the last few months that show Businesses offering more job opportunity than we have workers to fill them may also act as incentive for illegal entry. The answer to this problem is to step up legal immigration. The question is this, have the (now) 6 groups of invaders heard this good economic news? Our media is so busy bashing and blaming Trump for his Tweets and bad stuff, they don’t give us much in the way of economic news.

At least we’ve caught and stopped this one woman in the identity theft and fraud business. I wonder how many more are out there diligently defrauding our system and harming individual Americans?

We need a wall and we need more of this lovely law and order stuff. Well done, local law enforcement, FBI and DOJ.

Gee whiz! Ya mean not all these illegal aliens are honest, hard working, stand up people? I am shocked! Shocked!

  2. Libby says:

“She’ll have four years to learn new tricks and hone her skills in prison on our dime.”

Ahhhh … the smell of seething resentment. You really must try to get a grip. Because, you see, this is how such things are handled in a civilized society. You want to do something else, well, there is ISIS Land, where they still cut off body parts for such transgressions.

Indeed, I am going to have to insist that you make up your mind. You can go live in ISIS Land, or you can put a lid on it. Nobody wants to listen to you be barbarous.

She was caught. She is going to jail. There is no sensible reason for you to exert yourself any further on the subject.

    • Tina says:

      “…the smell of seething resentment.”

First you complain that businesses don’t use E-verify. Then when someone who’s in the country illegally and is caught criminally undermining that system while making money under the table and collecting in government services as well, you think we should be thrilled about it…and what? Praise her?

      Why, cause she’s “brown?”

That’s dumb and probably racist! If it were a white American you’d be ready to hang them!

Lord your moral guideposts are all catawampus.

    • Pie Guevara says:

Lippy, I so love you. You take unhinged stupid to a new level. Keep exerting yourself.

      You go girl! 😀

  3. Post Scripts says:

If you look at who was in the Assembly and Senate in 1950 and who is in there now, then compare the kinds of legislation that was proposed back in the day compared to now, there is a clear difference. We have been invaded by a special interest group that represent constituents based more on their race than representing all their people equally, without regard to race, religion or other legally defined categories.

As a result of this change in demographics, we see legislation frequently to linked to freedom robbing socialism, because it buys votes and their is a specific agenda in play to take this state over for the promotion of one special interest group.

Less and less does CA embrace the founding principles of our nation and instead they violate aspects of federal authority, take for example drug enforcement and immigration laws. That’s just wrong.

If you follow the 14th amendment, the argument could be made that sanctuary cities “are not subject to the jurisdiction thereof”…therefor they are operating outside the bounds of what qualifies to be called an American city. CA is a self professed sanctuary state. So they are saying they are not subject to the laws of the jurisdiction….well, are we now outside the jurisdiction of the USA? If you don’t we are quite there yet, I think we’re headed that way!

Some day I can see how the federal government might come in and take over this broken and corrupt state.

    • Tina says:

“so, are we now outside the jurisdiction of the USA and not qualified to be called American citizens?”

Jack I think we’re good. It’s our legislators and leaders in CA that are “not qualified to be called American citizens”

Annenberg Classroom: “Article VI of the Constitution contains what is often referred to as the supremacy clause. It states that when a state law is in conflict with a federal law, the federal law takes priority. Adam Winkler, a professor at the University of California at Los Angeles who specializes in constitutional law, said that “the law is clear — the supremacy clause says specifically that the federal laws are supreme over contrary state laws, even if the state doesn’t like those laws.”

      “…should be held accountable”

      Agreed!

  4. Tina says:

“There is no sensible reason for you to exert yourself any further on the subject.”

Way to fight for shuttin’ people up, Libs! You go girl!!

Did this story make the news?

Did anyone else see/hear this story on any televised or radio news outlet?

    No? Me either.

Libby, It’s called doing the job that the main stream fake news media refuses to do! Informing the public is an important part of a free society. It informs so that politically we know who to vote for, and who to reject, at the polls.

It’s an opportunity to send a message to those who are thinking about illegal entry, scamming American businesses, or ripping of tax payers that the American people are serious about controlling our borders and upholding our laws..

The fact that this woman was caught is a positive for the Trump administration. (Law and order as promised – why it didn’t make headlines.)

It’s also an indication that we do need the wall and stronger security at the border, including revised immigration law. (Possible examples: end anchor baby practice and speed up legal immigration process)

  5. Peggy says:

    Off topic, sort of.

Looks like Eric Holder didn’t earn his $25,000 a month, since Jan. 2017, retainer fee at Calif. taxpayer’s expense.

Judge rules in favor of Trump administration in California federal lands case:

“The Trump administration scored a legal victory on Thursday when a federal judge in California blocked a state law that sought to limit the transfer of federal lands.

The California legislature passed Senate Bill 50, which would give the California State Lands Commission the first right of refusal over government proposals to sell federal land, in 2017. Environmentalists encouraged its adoption to allay fears that the Trump administration would sell large swaths of federal land to be used for drilling, mining or real estate development.

But the Justice Department sued the state in April, with federal officials claiming that the law already slowed down a number of planned transfers.

In its ruling handed down Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California, Judge William Shubb said the California law violated the Constitution because it interferes with the federal government’s right to regulate the sale of federal property.

The lawsuit is the latest in a legal back and forth between the Trump administration and deep-blue California, which have filed lawsuits against one another over everything from so-called sanctuary city policies to rolling back protections for birth control over Obamacare.”

    Off topic.

I just ran across this and don’t remember seeing it before. Did you guys and I just missed it?

Obama DOJ drops charges against alleged broker of Libyan weapons:

“Arms dealer had threatened to expose Hillary Clinton’s talks about arming anti-Qadhafi rebels.

The Obama administration is moving to dismiss charges against an arms dealer it had accused of selling weapons that were destined for Libyan rebels.

Lawyers for the Justice Department on Monday filed a motion in federal court in Phoenix to drop the case against the arms dealer, an American named Marc Turi, whose lawyers also signed the motion.

The deal averts a trial that threatened to cast additional scrutiny on Hillary Clinton’s private emails as Secretary of State, and to expose reported Central Intelligence Agency attempts to arm rebels fighting Libyan leader Moammar Qadhafi.

Government lawyers were facing a Wednesday deadline to produce documents to Turi’s legal team, and the trial was officially set to begin on Election Day, although it likely would have been delayed by protracted disputes about classified information in the case.

A Turi associate asserted that the government dropped the case because the proceedings could have embarrassed Clinton and President Barack Obama by calling attention to the reported role of their administration in supplying weapons that fell into the hands of Islamic extremist militants.

“They don’t want this stuff to come out because it will look really bad for Obama and Clinton just before the election,” said the associate.

    • Tina says:

As with spending our money, these things are only a problem that cries for exposure if Republicans do it, regardless of the purpose and intent.

Can the American people just get a little daylight?

Most of us understand that sometimes things go sideways, that sometimes the only choice is between two horrible options, that there’s a real need for secrecy for national security reasons. But we absolutely hate the political games that get layered on top of it and the lying and conniving to cover a$$es and save skin. Those engaged in such are the real deplorables! Tell us the truth and take your lumps!

  7. Chris says:

The answer to this problem is to step up legal immigration.

For once, we agree! Increasing legal immigration would also decrease the incentive to immigrate legally.

I’m not seeing how this woman’s case shows the need for a wall, however; I can’t find anything about her entering the country illegally. Most illegal immigrants overstay their visas. Those who do come in will just find their way around the wall. My position on this is similar to the right’s position on gun control, a position I have in some ways been warming up to.

    • Tina says:

The Wall has more to do with drug and human traffickers. Border agents insist a good wall would help them greatly because it would cut down on the amount of ground they have to cover. The people whose ranches are in this area could sleep a little better at night.

Trumps position has never been to stop immigration. Trumps position has been to restore the rule of law and legal entry. Democrats demagoguery of the issue makes getting positive reforms implemented nearly impossible. We all suffer because of it.

The knee jerk sanctuary laws are a joke and don’t help the situation.

Trumps offer to increase the number of DACA recipients in exchange for wall funding was rejected…politics was more important. Demonizing Trump was more important. Trying to keep the upper hand when clearly they had lost it was more important. Games games games. If anything “sucks” it’s the games.

      • Chris says:

Trumps position has never been to stop immigration. Trumps position has been to restore the rule of law and legal entry.

And yet he restricted legal immigration with the travel ban, and talks about repealing birthright citizenship (which would affect the children of legal immigrants who are not citizens)…

Trumps offer to increase the number of DACA recipients in exchange for wall funding was rejected…politics was more important.

No, reality was more important…the sensible Republicans know the wall is a pipe dream. They are laughing at you behind your back…and you just keep giving them more reason to.

        • Post Scripts says:

Chris I take it that you are in favor of the anchor baby concept, right? If yes, please explain why this is a good thing and please cite a few countries that recognize anchor babies and how it’s worked out for them? If you can’t defend your position you really shouldn’t be attacking ours, which is not exactly ours…it’s the worlds position.

        • Tina says:

“…yet he restricted legal immigration with the travel ban, and talks about repealing birthright citizenship.”

As if that were a bad thing?

The travel ban is a temporary smart response to a direct threat to American lives…that is all that it is.

Birthright citizenship is an ignorant politically motivated shift in immigration policy. It’s absolutely sensible to take a look at the negatives associated with the practice and decide if it makes sense.

What is valuable about demeaning rather than discussing?

What has such hate driven opinion ever done to improve conditions?

There are legitimate reasons to at least look at the situation reasonably and responsibly.

  8. Chris says:

    *immigrate illegally

  9. Tina says:

“…sensible Republicans know the wall is a pipe dream.”

Sensible Republicans think it’s a necessary part of an overall plan to secue our border, protect our citizens, and reestablish the rule of law!!!!!

Those who actually put their lives on the line everyday at the border want the wall where it makes sense to construct them because it would make their job a lot easier…less area to patrol and the ability to concentrate efforts. It would also help save lives, including those being trafficked into our country, those who perish in the desert areas, and those who use drugs.

If you would drop that attitude, that anything Trump or any other Republican suggests is motivated by racism, you might begin to understand exactly what is sensible, especially to our border patrol agents and those living along the border.

  10. Tina says:

“They are laughing at you behind your back…”

Way to apply rule 5, Chris: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”

What do you get from such a desperate move?

There’s probably a word for those who insist there is only one way to do things and who seem frightened by new ideas but I can’t think of it.

Trumps record of success in a very short time is impressive. We have nothing to lose by entertaining different ideas and possibly much to gain…what the hell is wrong with all you “sensible” types? You call yourselves progressive and all you do is slam on the brakes!

Can’t stand being out of power?

Too frightened that it will work cause its the “enemies” idea?

Demonizing and ridicule are all you got?
