President Trump has been labeled a “Nazi” and compared, without evidence, “Hitler.”
The left knows no bounds in it’s commitment to destroy it’s “enemies,” quote Barack Obama in 2007 who said in a radio interview aimed at Latino’s in LA:
If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, ‘Were going to punish our enemies and were gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us,’ if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think its going to be harder, and that’s why I think its so important that people focus on voting on November 2.
It’s a short hop from “enemy” to “Hitler” for the left. But how accurate are these emotion driven outbursts? What in Trumps behavior resembles that of Hitler in reality? In my experience, nothing. Challenge me, I dare you.
There are examples of people and groups behaving like Hitler and inevitably they are tied to the left. A writer at The American Thinker sees a direct comparison to Hitler in the environmental movement:
In “The Nazi Roots of the Global Warming Scare” by Kerry Jackson in Investor’s Business Daily, Rupert Darwall, author of Green Tyranny, is quoted as having stated, in an interview with Encounter Books, “If you look at what the Nazis were doing in the 1930s, in their environmental policies, virtually every theme you see in the modern environmental movement, the Nazis were doing[.]”
Among those themes common to the modern environmental movement and the 1930s Nazis was “climate change.” In “The Nazi Origins of Renewable Energy (and Global Warming),” David Archibald wrote that the first German-language article (perhaps the first political article) on “human-caused climate change” was created in 1941 by Hermann Flohn, a scientist for the German Meteorological Service who became the chief meteorologist for the Luftwaffe High Command. The title of that article translates as “The Activity of Man as a Climate Factor.”
That is just the tip of this “common theme” iceberg. In order to pursue their stated goal of “preventing harm to the environment,” Hitler’s Third Reich passed the Reichsnaturschutzgesetz (Reich Nature Protection Law) in 1933. According to Duncan Bayne in “How to Spot a Nazi,” the purpose of this act was to increase control over the German populace by requiring that decisions on how a person could use his property be first approved by the Reich. Sound familiar? …
… Providing support for that insight, the campaigns of the Nazis of the 1930s and the liberal Democrats of today are both based on the contention that not putting their political party in charge of humankind’s relationship to planet Earth …
… What’s an alternative to this “put us in charge or we’re all going to die” madness? The U.S. solution: Give people the freedom to recognize problems, environmental as well as otherwise, and address those problems with practical rather than political solutions. That pits us against our problems rather than against each other.
Synergies made possible by free enterprise and free elections in the U.S. have solved more problems, environmental, economic, and political, and have sustained more freedoms in the process, than any “put us in charge or else” regimes anywhere on the planet.
I watched a video this morning in which an African man decried the fact that the environmental movement is discouraging modern development that would save lives and create better living conditions for African people. If I were a lefty I wouldn’t feel so smug about the my way or the highway approach they have to everything, including the environment. They never seem to consider the negative aspects of their severe, punishing “solution.”
I ask again, what has President Trump done that in any way resembles Hitler or the Nazi movement? A better question emerges…what can we point to in the Democrat Party that closely mirrors the activities if Hitler and the Nazi’s?
Nazi’s targeted and labeled Jews as “the enemy.” Nazi’s used gun control and environmental concerns to control the people. Who does that today. White men, gun owners, industry and republicans are today the “enemy.” Sheesh…it’s so obvious!
Gotta run, going out of town today. Ya’ll have fun.
I think you give the democrats too much credit. The Nazis may have been slimeballs, but they were efficient, humorless slimeballs.
Today’s democrat party is more like the Keystone Kops. And if they manage to get back in control, they’ll be screwing up and breaking stuff with world class incompetence. It’s not likely they’ll be firing up the ovens for us. Not even if Hillary makes a comeback.
Good point Cherokee, the Keystone Cops are a better fit, but since we’re being asked to accept the Nazi label right along with Trump, I think it’s incumbent upon us to make this comparison right back at them.
Neither German nor Jew could imagine that the ovens would be “fired up” in 1933 when Hitler came to power. Hitlers persecution of the Jews began as a campaign to target, isolate, and ridicule them as a group. Today’s radical left means to do just that as it targets conservatives by labeling them white supremacist. White men are similarly targeted. This is typical of socialist thinkers, as Saul Alinski asserted in his book Rules For Radicals. The following rules apply directly:
Rule 12 as described in the book, “Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)
So Hitler began his campaign with ridicule aimed at isolating the Jews. The radical left, now in charge of the Democrat Party, is operating just like Hitler. Whether or not their tactics ever evolve into camps with ovens, this is still NOT the America I want my grandchildren to inherit. The German people duped themselves into thinking many things that were not true because of the effectiveness of the socialist leader. (So much for speaking ability as a criterion for picking a good leader.)
We have just a few days to go before the next election. And the shrill cries of the Lefties keep getting more and more outrageous and unhinged.
We could be in for a record-setting election, both in turnout and amount of crazy claims by the Despicable Demwits. Truth in any of their political ads has long since left the building.
I’ve already voted, and there was no blue on my ballot – not even ink!
And ya gotta wonder how many boxes of ballots will be suddenly discovered after Demwit candidates lost . . . . . . .
Stay sane everyone!
Well, Trump calls the Fake News Press (you know who they are) the enemy of the people, but this does not make him a Nazi or even Nazi-like except in the minds of Democrat kooks and left wing loons. The FNP is, in fact, the enemy of our Republic for the constant stream fake news and blatant, misleading, unfair minded and often inaccurate left-wing propaganda they churn out by the tanker loads.
Is it any wonder Americans distrust journalists and the press in general? Trump didn’t engineer this distrust, he only recognized it. If anyone is Nazi-like it is the left, Democrats and their volunteer propaganda machine, the Lame Stream News Media/FNP cabal.
You may recall Hillary and Obama’s warning about fake or false news and Obama’s actual attacks on journalists to repress journalistic freedom. Was or is Obama a Nazi? No, of course not, but he took the power of the presidency to deploy Nazi-like tactics against journalists. Trump has not done anything as egregious as Obama targeting then-Fox News journalist James Rosen as a “criminal co-conspirator” for protecting his sources in a DOJ leak investigation. Obama went well beyond Nixonian and right into the realm of fascism.
Are the journalists and editors of the LSNM/FNP cabal Nazis as well and Democrats and rabid leftists too? Well, no. They just use the same techniques of propaganda to destroy anyone who they consider a threat.
Joseph Goebbels would admire the craftsmanship of this crowd except for, perhaps, Maxine Waters who is dumber than a bag of doorknobs.
My bet is that Gobbels and Hitler would be cheering the attempt of the personal destruction of Brett Kavanaugh, even though it was unsuccessful. So far the Nazi-like tactics of the left are failing, as they should. We will see if they are hoisted by their own petard or if Americans lose their sense of civility, decency, fairness and the basic tenants of the rule of Western law. Civilization is a thin veneer and we will see if our society can survive the tribal leftist mobs and their Nazi-like behavior.
A reminder from someone who fought the Nazis. It is an hour long. Watch it to the end.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMGk_Fk_iJk
Thank you. An hour well spent.
Pie you are quite accurate about Obama taking “the power of the presidency to deploy Nazi-like tactics.” The example you gave is perfect but there are more. His (control) over the healthcare and energy sectors is typical Nazi (socialist) behavior. The secret Iran deal is another. Confiscation of wealth was on the agenda but they didn’t quite succeed. They did decimate the middle class, a move that made targeting the wealthy easier.
Maxine has threatened similar action against the banks and Wall Street if she becomes the finance chairperson.
So far neither Chris nor Libby has come forth to argue Trump’s Nazi attributes or policies…disinterest or inability to do anything more than name calling and labeling?
They left definitely would like to isolate Trump and discredit him (12) but so far it isn’t working. The more they insult him in the face of his accomplishments for the people, the higher his approval ratings go.
So far neither Chris nor Libby has come forth to argue Trump’s Nazi attributes or policies…disinterest or inability to do anything more than name calling and labeling?
This is too easy…he targets religious and racial minority groups with lies and discrimination. He did it at the beginning of his campaign, when he said “When Mexico sends its people,” they are mostly sending rapists and murderers. He did it when he spread a blood libel about seeing thousands of NJ Muslims celebrating 9/11 on TV. He did it when he said a judge couldn’t fairly rule on a case of his because he was Mexican. He did it when he said Jeb Bush has to like illegal immigrants because his wife is Mexican. He did it when he said Mrs. Kahn “maybe wasn’t allowed to speak.” He did it when he banned travel from seven Muslim-majority countries. He did it when he banned trans people from the military for literally no reason. And he’s doing it now with his lies about the caravan.
Fear of minorities is a crucial platform for Trump. It is his *main* platform.
Trump is nowhere near Hitler’s level, nor is he a Nazi. But there is a reason that Nazis love him, and you can’t chalk that up to mere coincidence. When white nationalists and white supremacists flock to your candidate, it’s time for you to start thinking about why that is. So far, the response among the far right has been…to talk about how the KKK was originally founded by Democrats. That’s it. That’s your rebuttal to the fact now, today, in 2018, the KKK loves Trump.
Why do you think that’s sufficient for anyone with an IQ above 80?
“…when he said “When Mexico sends its people,” they are mostly sending rapists and murderers.”
An exaggeration but not a lie. The surge in criminals crossing our borders has been well documented and excessive compared to former times in America. When you consider that Cartels have established outposts and control areas of “distribution” across the US, much of it through MS-13 gang members in the country illegally, the idea that “most” of the people crossing our border are concerned with criminal activity. Then there’s the human traffickers a disgusting criminal enterprise that abuses often poor Mexicans and South Americans…criminals crossing our borders on a regular basis. Then there’s the fact that Mexico’s policing agencies have been corrupted and aid these abusers, it makes sense the president would call attention to this. Once again you don’t care about what he was communicating, only how you can twist the meaning to suite your hateful prejudices.
“…spread a blood libel about seeing thousands of NJ Muslims celebrating 9/11 on TV.”
A “blood libel”…what the hell is the matter with you?
There were sightings of Muslims celebrating as the towers fell in NJ and across America. This is another case of exaggeration unless… Callers to Howard Sterns Radio Show reported seeing people celebrating…even rioting. There’s a good chance that if this happened the government would have done everything possible to tamp down the reports to prevent violence and for national security purposes. O’Reilly suggested the President may have conflated what he saw, a few people, with the news reports from the ME of Muslims celebrating. . Three people WERE ARRESTED in NJ. We were looking for more cells at the time. This was a very confusing and stressful time, especially for New Yorkers who lost so many family members, associates, and friends. I think you could cut him some slack on this one.
“He did it when he said a judge couldn’t fairly rule on a case of his because he was Mexican”
Ever heard of the practice, recusal?
“He did it when he said Jeb Bush has to like illegal immigrants because his wife is Mexican. ”
An indelicate assumption, said during a campaign, but hardly a lie and not racist but factual, he is married to a Mexican, happily married as far as we can tell. Texans have lived, married, and associated with Mexicans since before the state became a state. Their experiences are likely to color their views on immigration. We saw similar positions in GWB, understandably. It doesn’t necessarily prejudice their stances on immigration but it certainly can.
“…he said Mrs. Kahn “maybe wasn’t allowed to speak.”
Another indelicate gaff at best. Very similar to the foot-in-mouth disease in Joe Biden. The key word is “maybe”…a reference to the very real and very harsh tyranny of women still practiced in some Muslim households…a fact. Not proof of racism by any means.
“He did it when he banned travel from seven Muslim-majority countries.”
Chris the Supreme Court ruled that President Trump’s travel bans are “well within his constitutional rights to impose.” You may disagree with his national security methods but that doesn’t make them racist in nature. In fact your party’s distortion of the intent behind Trumps action was irresponsible and expensive in my opinion.
Your party refused to accept the outcome in the election. Your party, including it’s sycophant/complicit media, has been on a campaign to undermine and destroy Trump ever since. This isn;t just expressed disagreement, disapproval, or distrust. this is an organized campaign to destroy. It disgusts me. It is well outside the bounds of American ideals regarding elections and the peaceful transition of power. This is what’s done in tyrannical nations.
“…there is a reason that Nazis love him”
You’ve heard them proclaim this love? What did they say? Can you articulate the “reason” in terms of Trump’s actions toward minorities? Is it real or assumed?
“…you can’t chalk that up to mere coincidence.”
Really? Why not?
“When white nationalists and white supremacists flock to your candidate…”
Flock? How many Americans have you decided are Nazi’s to make you ASSUME such an asinine thing? The numbers that show up to organized white supremacist rally’s is scant and republicans/conservatives are quick to reject their WS positions. Your media is creating a huge lie by pushing this ridiculous idea.
“… the KKK loves Trump.”
Evidence, please.
Even if it could be demonstrated it isn’t necessarily proof they love him because of racist actions or attitudes. They are also concerned with economic, healthcare, and rule of law issues and the alternative sucked at both.
Nothing you mentioned demonstrates racism. None of it points to policies that harm minorities exclusively as racist practices and laws have done in the past. What is your yardstick but a collection of unfounded accusations, based on emotional resentment and rage?
In fact there is a lot of evidence that Trump supports minorities in real terms. His administration has been instructed to open up educational and job opportunities for minorities, especially in cities like Detroit, and his economic and border policies have helped to achieve the goal of good jobs and lower unemployment for minorities. Trump makes a distinction between those who come here legally and those who do not. Americans lost jobs to illegal minority populations under Bush and Obama. His plan to put America first is sound…we should see to the economic needs of Americans before allowing others to come in, especially illegally.

You are welcome to your opinion, Chris, this is America. But your opinion isn’t widely held nor is it reasonable or rational.
Oh, one more thing. Why does your party and the media treat associations with Louis Farrakhan as they do? Why weren’t Obama and other of your party labeled an anti-Semitic because of the association with him and his racist group? Obama attended a church that has close ties to Farrakhan for twenty years. Why didn’t that make him a flaming anti-American and anti-Semite with you on the left who love to affix labels?
LOUIS FARRAKHAN Leads Chants of “Death to America!” in Tehran — Refers to America as “Great Satan” (VIDEO)
An exaggeration but not a lie.
Tina, when one repeats an exaggeration over and over, for the express purpose of trying to make people afraid, with no indicated self-awareness that one is exaggerating, that is materially no different from a lie. And in this case, it was a racist lie, condemning as it did nearly an entire nation of people.
MS-13 gang members in the country illegally,
MS-13 started in LA in legal second-generation communities and spread outward from there. The constant conflation of MS-13 with illegal immigrants is itself another lie.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/five-myths/five-myths-about-ms-13/2018/06/29/5860f1c4-7b17-11e8-93cc-6d3beccdd7a3_story.html?utm_term=.f880385868f9
the idea that “most” of the people crossing our border are concerned with criminal activity.
No, none of what you posted supports that idea.
Once again you don’t care about what he was communicating, only how you can twist the meaning to suite your hateful prejudices.
I know what he was communicating. What he was communicating, and continues to communicate, is prejudice. Calling out prejudice is not prejudice. Stop with the “I’m rubber, you’re glue” tactic. I know you’ve seen that this tactic has worked for Trump so far, but it won’t work forever.
A “blood libel”…what the hell is the matter with you?
What the hell is the matter with you for trying to justify this blood libel?
There were sightings of Muslims celebrating as the towers fell in NJ and across America. This is another case of exaggeration unless… Callers to Howard Sterns Radio Show reported seeing people celebrating…even rioting.
Ah, yes, those most reliable of sources…”sightings” and “callers to Howard Sterns [sic] Radio Show [sic}.”
How are you not embarrassed to have typed that as a defense?
I think you could cut him some slack on this one.
I should “cut him some slack” for telling one of his many lies about a minority community that he does nothing but spread fear and lies about, because he might have been “confused?” Are you serious? No. Absolutely not.
Ever heard of the practice, recusal?
Of course I’ve heard of it. How does that justify the president’s nonsensical and racist belief that a judge should recuse himself from a case just because of the judge’s nationality?
An indelicate assumption, said during a campaign, but hardly a lie and not racist but factual, he is married to a Mexican, happily married as far as we can tell. Texans have lived, married, and associated with Mexicans since before the state became a state. Their experiences are likely to color their views on immigration. We saw similar positions in GWB, understandably. It doesn’t necessarily prejudice their stances on immigration but it certainly can.
It was a bigoted assumption, Tina. If Obama had made such an assumption about what someone might believe simply because they are white, you would have no problem calling that racist. But you can’t bring yourself to call Trump’s statement that someone must believe something because their wife is Mexican racist? Again, you are just proving that the word is meaningless to you. You literally will not apply it to someone on your side of the aisle no matter what they do.
Another indelicate gaff at best.
No, another bigoted assumption.
Chris the Supreme Court ruled that President Trump’s travel bans are “well within his constitutional rights to impose.”
The five conservative members of the court ruled that it was within his right regardless of whether his intent was bigoted. In fact, their reasoning was explicitly that the intent of the president did not matter–a reasoning the four liberal members of the court rightly found uncompelling. So this is not an argument that Trump’s intent was not bigoted.
You’ve heard them proclaim this love? What did they say? Can you articulate the “reason” in terms of Trump’s actions toward minorities? Is it real or assumed?
You can’t possibly be this uninformed. Look at white supremacist websites. Look at their Twitter accounts. David Duke regularly retweets Trump favorably. How do you not know this?
republicans/conservatives are quick to reject their WS positions.
In fact, prominent Republicans like Steve King, Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham regularly parrot white nationalist positions by arguing against our nation’s cultural diversity and saying we need to stay a majority white nation. Trump voiced one himself recently when he said that George Soros might be funding the caravan. This originated in white nationalist circles under the theory that rich Jews are causing the immigration crisis. Ann Coulter regularly retweets VDARE, a white nationalist blog, that also publishes her work, and has argued that the falling white birthrate and escalating non-white birthrate will be the death of America.
“… the KKK loves Trump.”
Evidence, please.
No. Use Google.
Even if it could be demonstrated it isn’t necessarily proof they love him because of racist actions or attitudes.
Yes, they do. They are open about this. They explicitly say they love Trump because he is keeping out non-white immigrants, and because he hates the same people they hate. You can’t not know this.
his economic and border policies have helped to achieve the goal of good jobs and lower unemployment for minorities.
No, they have not. Minority unemployment has fallen more slowly under Trump than it did under Obama, and is simply following trends that started prior to Trump. Same for job creation.
Americans lost jobs to illegal minority populations under Bush and Obama.
No, we did not.
With all of Maxine’s ethic’s violation charges and low IQ we are in a world of hurt if the Dems get the House majority. God help us.
I forgot to mention Obama’s IRS scandal —

1) Those are not “assault rifles” they are semi-automatic rifles that look like fully automatic weapons.
2) Lookin’ good!
3) Hot damn! “You need to march in your neighborhood. When we was [sic] in West Virginia, 99 percent crackers, stone cold crackers.” (Now I am hungry for some stone ground wheat crackers.)
4) I feel sorry for Stacy Abrams. Well, sort of.
Now, imagine the reaction to a group with light skin color doing this.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Pie, you’re going to love this. Adams want to ban AR-15 from Georgia, but letting her supporters walk the streets with military fully automatic rifles is ok. Typical liberal logic.
WATCH: CNN’s Tapper Grills Stacey Abrams On Gun Confiscation. She Struggles In Response.
“CNN’s Jake Tapper grilled far-left Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams on Sunday over her support for confiscating guns from law-abiding Americans and for her support for banning semi-automatic rifles.
Abrams, who said last month that she wants to ban semi-automatic rifles if she is elected governor, appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” where she once again said that semi-automatic rifles must be banned in the state.
“When you were a state lawmaker in 2016, you co-sponsored a bill that would have allowed Georgia state authorities to take away so-called assault weapons from current gun owners,” Tapper began. “Most similar bans would grandfather in existing weapons of that sort, semiautomatic rifles that are called assault weapons. So, is that your current position, that law-abiding gun owners in Georgia should have to give up those weapons, if authorities deem it necessary?”
“Well, just to be clear here, though — I’m just trying to understand,” Tapper fired back. “So you don’t support the actual legislation; you just support having a conversation about it?”
“No, what I have said is, legislation in the state legislature is about starting the conversation,” Abrams said, appearing to contradict herself.
“I believe that we have to ban assault weapons in the state of Georgia,” Abrams concluded.

As long as Democrats keep putting up bozos like this, what is not to like?
It will be interesting to see if they dare to show up at voting stations and see what happens at the DOJ.
I should have instead said that the New Black Panthers are today’s Democrat Party’s replacement for the KKK, their military arm.
The Obama DoJ wouldn’t look into the Black Panther’s voter intimidation in PA, but I do believe the Trump DoJ will.
The Obama DoJ
Assistant AG Deputy Julie Fernandes: “Never Bring A Lawsuit Against A Black”:
“The event took place on election day in 2008 in Philadelphia,PA . Two members of the Black Panther party, one holding a billy club, were patrolling the front doors leading into a building where people were to go to cast their votes, intimidating every person who walked by that didn’t look like a Democrat. The actions of the panthers were exposed thanks to an individual who caught the incident on video, which can be found here. In comes J. Christian Adams, the former DOJ attorney turned whistleblower saying the case was dropped because of “racial issues.” Adams also said “The [voting] section doesn’t want to protect white voters.” Fox Nation elaborated, as Adams–like Gaziano–began naming names:
“He testified that Deputy Assistant Attorney General Julie Fernandes told Voting Section management that there would be no more cases brought against black defendants vindicating the rights of white victims. Adams personally heard Fernandes say that the division would only bring “traditional civil rights cases” (code words for suits against white racists). Adams also heard Fernandes say that she had no interest in the Voting Section enforcing Section 8 of the National Voter Registration Act (which requires purging rolls of ineligible voters to prevent voter fraud), because Section 8 does not increase voter turnout. Fernandes now needs to be questioned under oath, as does the head of the Civil Rights Division, Thomas Perez, who previously testified this was not the Justice Department’s policy and that he was unaware of such views.”
Never bring a lawsuit against a black. Furthermore, the Weekly Standard Reported:
“Former voting rights attorneys confirm that the belief is omnipresent in the Justice Department. DoJ attorneys openly criticized the Panther case, objecting not to any lack of evidence or to the legal arguments but to the notion that any discrimination case should be filed against black defendants. There are instances of attorneys refusing to work on cases against minority defendants. In 2005, for example, Coates pursued, filed, and won a case (upheld on appeal to the Fifth Circuit in 2009) of egregious voter discrimination by black officials in Noxubee County, Mississippi. Colleagues criticized Coates for filing the case and refused to work on it.”

Eric Holder:
Eric Holder: Black Panther case focus demeans ‘my people’:
“The Attorney General seemed to take personal offense at a comment Culberson read in which former Democratic activist Bartle Bull called the incident the most serious act of voter intimidation he had witnessed in his career.
“Think about that,” Holder said. “When you compare what people endured in the South in the 60s to try to get the right to vote for African Americans, and to compare what people were subjected to there to what happened in Philadelphia—which was inappropriate, certainly that…to describe it in those terms I think does a great disservice to people who put their lives on the line, who risked all, for my people,” said Holder, who is black.”

Re Chris: “Fear of minorities is a crucial platform for Trump. It is his *main* platform. ”
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
I truly believe you actually believe this. Keep working that angle. Please! This is your ticket to political relevance! You go girl!
Do you have a serious argument to make that Trump has not promoted fear against Mexican immigrants and Muslims since the beginning of his candidacy?
How do you explain this, an ad which even many Republicans have said is even more racist than the Willie Horton ads?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2unpoLZwr8
Can you make a serious argument that your support of socialism isn’t based on your love for Pol Pot, Joseph Stalin and Mao, the 3 men who are responsible for the slaughter of hundreds of millions of their own countrymen?
“….many Republicans have said is even more racist than the Willie Horton ads?”
So who gives a rat’s @$$ what some rhinos said about anything?
What the hell is racist about publicizing the results of idiotic progressive policies?
That should be rinos.
And isn’t racist to point out that Willie Horton etal aren’t white?
Actually, it should be “RINOs.”
And if you think Donald Trump is more representative of Republican values than the staff of the National Review, then be my guest. But that’s why people are leaving the party.
“Can you make a serious argument that your support of socialism”
I do not support socialism.
“What the hell is racist about publicizing the results of idiotic progressive policies?”
The ad in question did not publicize the results of progressive policies. It lies about progressive policies. It claims that the killer in question was released under Democrats and let back in by Democrats, which is not true.
https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/02/politics/trump-video-accused-as-racist-also-lacks-factual-basis/index.html
The ad is racist because it spreads fear about a whole group of potential immigrants in the caravan by comparing them to an evil killer. The ad tried to make him the face of that group, as if he is representative of them, when he has no connection to them other than his ethnicity.
Re Chris “How do you explain this, an ad which even many Republicans have said is even more racist than the Willie Horton ads?”
1) Enumerate and name those many.
2) The Willie Horton ad was racist? It was about the questionable release of a vicious criminal. Who brought the question of skin color into it?
3) I love you Chris. You are a paradigm of the totally insane demagogue.
He was more mature at 18.
Victor Davis Hansen weighs in on Fake News in his piece, “CNN’s Existential War With Trump,” posted at America Greatness. He names names and cites erroneous reporting….mostly by CNN but including MSNBC and NBC. An excerpt:
This article contains quite a number of fake news stories that were later proved wrong. The President is correct to call them out for their ugly unprofessional hit man attitudes as well as their erroneous reporting.
