The attack on the twin towers, the Pentagon and the intended target of the White House by Islamic Jihads on 9-eleven was nothing short of a declaration of war against this country. The enemy had only one rule of engagement: Kill as many Americans as possible…men, women, children, the old, infirm….doesn’t matter. Just kill Americans!
President George W. Bush made it very plain. “We are now at war…but we will win the victory.” As General Douglas Macarthur once said “Wars’ only alternative is victory.” And it was General George Patton who said “You don’t win wars by dying for your country. You win wars by making the other SOB die for HIS country.”
The problem this country faced was that this country’s foe didn’t wear uniforms, nor did they represent a country. Their training ground was Afghanistan, and that’s where we sent OUR uniformed soldiers, sailors and airmen. But because our foe didn’t wear uniforms, we also sent members of the CIA. They weren’t required to wear uniforms either. Their job was to infiltrate and gather information –intelligence–to learn of other targets the Jihads had in mind.
The U.S. military and the CIA did a memorable job, gaining information which prevented more mayhem, death and suffering of Americans on our soil.
BUT NOW, U.S. ATTORNEY GENERAL ERIC HOLDER WANTS TO BRING CIA OPERATIVES TO TRIAL FOR THEIR EFFORTS IN PREVENTING MORE TERRORIST ATTACKS ON THIS COUNTRY.
The Left-wing(nuts) say that’s not enough. President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney should be brought up on charges too (for keeping this country safe in the eight years following 9-eleven.
Personally, I believe all CIA agents involved in the war on terror should receive a medal…and so should Bush and Cheney. But….who gets the medal? The late Harvey Milk, that sick homosexual who did more to harm and tarnish the youth of this country than that drug-crazed University professor did when he urged students to “tune in, turn on….and drop out.”
To understand just how far the Left-wing(nuts) of this country have dragged us into the sewer, we have House Speaker Nancy Pelosi…and Senate leader Harry Reid claiming those Americans who attend Tea Parties and Town Hall meetings are UN-AMERICAN for standing up and engaging in free speech. The new leader of Homeland Security, Janet Nepolitano saying veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan should be watched closely for fear they’ll turn into terrorists.
AH….BUT THERE IS HOPE! There’s a new day coming and it’s right around the corner. It’s November of 2010. That’s the day we REAL Americans can begin to take our country back…by going to the polls and getting rid of those politicians who love themselves (and this country’s enemies) more than they love this country.
