By now you have probably heard that Obama is planning a nationwide address to our school children next Tuesday at 10am. The discussion is supposedly about the importance of education. This will be on a private network. Adults and parents are not invited to listen or participate. I wanted to get other peoples opinions about this. According to my local TV station, the results of this address may lead to a regularly scheduled one way address from Obama to our nations youth. I find this disturbing. Is it possible that this is an attempt to indoctrinate our young people ?
In Alinskys’ “Rules for Radicals” there is mention of engaging the very young with regular speeches. Another form of brainwashing. This was done in other countries in the past, i.e. Germany . Please let me know what you think or put this in Post Scripts for discussion. There is a consent form parents must sign to allow their child’s participation. As a parent, I would want to hear the speech first so that I could make an informed decision.
