As you might have expected, CA was a clean sweep for Bernie Sanders and his give-away socialist agenda.
Bernie’s popularity makes me believe CA must be like a magnet for the dumbest, greediest and most rabid libs to be found anywhere.
Now the election results:
Is there a awakening in needed leadership, lets hope so
Why are you showing election results from the 2018 primary? And just for governor, lieutenant governor and secretary of state?
The wrong .jpg was uploaded because it was mislabeled. So I pulled 2018 instead of 2020, sorry bout that.
Well, look on the bright side…at least someone noticed. 🙂
I suppose you’re right Joe, thanks for noticing! lol
Jack, looks like your property taxes are going to go up in a couple of years. CUSD is using the failure of Prop 13 to try to get a bond measure on the ballot in 2022.
Proposition 13, a $15 billion bond measure, just failed in California. (Chico’s property tax increase measure also failed.) This may indicate that citizens are fed up with being squeezed by this profligate, Democrat run state which cannot seem to do anything but mismanage the enormous funds they already command.
They’re going to be back for more because no matter how much they take it’s never enough for them. The city council plans to put a sales tax increase on the Nov ballot. (The council voted unanimously last year to move forward with it. Even the two so-called conservatives voted for it.)
Oroville had a sales tax increase that got defeated in 2016 but the city council there just put back on the ballot in 2018 and it passed.
It’s not enough to defeat these tax increases once because the corrupt politicians (who are nothing but puppets of the special interests, even at the local level) will just keep putting it on the ballot again and again. I believe Redding just defeated a sales tax for the third time.
