Terebea Williams was 22 when she shot her boyfriend, drove 750 miles with him bleeding in the trunk of his own car and then dragged him into a Northern California motel, tied him to a chair and left him to die. Convicted of murder, carjacking and kidnapping, Williams went on to become a model prisoner and was lauded by administrators for her “exceptional conduct” while incarcerated. Williams boyfriend went on to be permanently dead.
Williams (shown on right) left prison at age 44, after serving 25% of 84 year sentence for being a “model prisoner” and to curb the spread of COVID’s.
It is believed that COVID’s has contributed in some way to the death of 52 and sickened more than 8,700 others inmates. About 6500 inmates are being processed for early release at this time. Prisoner rights advocates (see above) want all prisoners to be released immediately. What could possibly go wrong with that?
