Patty Murray of Washington, Max Baucus of Montana and John Kerry of Massachusetts to the new “super committee” tasked with finding $1.2 trillion in additional deficit reduction by Nov. 23, according to a senior Democratic aide familiar with Reid’s decision, which is expected to be made public as early as Wednesday. – National Journal

Hopefully McConnell will appoint three republicans who are as to the right as these folks are to the left. If he appoints he middle roaders we lose.

We elected Congress to make tough decisions, not delegate them to a committee. What happened to all the recommendations by Alan Simpson & Company last year? Oh, yeah. The Prez ignored them.

This latest group of the 3 Stooges never met a tax they didn’t like. Prepare for more dithering.
