Left Media Covers as Durban Plays the Perfect Fool

Submitted by Pie Guevara

Did media cover up Sen. Durbin’s confrontation with reporter?

Reporter William Kelly asked a polite but unwanted question and was treated like an unruly gate crasher at an exclusive party. Such disrespect is unseemly in a servant of the people. This is America where the press has a right to ask questions.

And what’s up with the other (left) media types covering for him and attempting to push Kelly out of the area? For his part, Senator Durbin just looks the perfect fool.

  1. Quentin Colgan says:

Did the media think it a big deal when some little bagger/agitprop–pretending to be a journalist–was caught and not allowed to play journalist?

    No.

Working for the TEA baggerz disqualifies anyone from impartiality. This fellow is no more a journalist than Poe Guevara!

    False premise, Poe.
    Try again.
This one wasn’t as funny as your usual BS.

    Or, just insult me!
    Like a good liberal tool.

  2. Harriet says:

Senator Durbin has a habit of dissing folks. He once said “Meeting with constituents not productive”, “meeting with lobbyists is”.

There are several incidents of similiar behavior.
I found them on Bing.com and google.

I did not post as thought it a waste of time, as it can be checked.

    Re Colgan’s Latest Urination:

Just the sort of response one would expect from someone who fears being asked questions from the public or the press. A narcissist who aspires to control the free exchange of ideas and thought in a free marketplace. Just like Durbin. Two cow patties in a pasture.

Just imagine if it were Colgan being escorted out the door! What a stink he would raise!

Thanks for the belly laugh, Quentin you sad and malicious hypocrite! You are sooooooo easy to manipulate. I should be ashamed of myself for drawing you out again and giving you just enough rope to hang yourself.

    What an oblivious arrogant fool.

Q: “Did the media think it a big deal when some little bagger/agitprop–pretending to be a journalist–was caught and not allowed to play journalist? No. Working for the TEA baggerz disqualifies anyone from impartiality.”

Qthe ultimate authority fabricates once again.

In fact the highly respected American Spectator,,around since 1967, as well as the highly regarded Washington Times both feature Kellys work. He is a credentialed member of the media. But even if he were not…Durbin is a servant of the people and as such is obligated to answer questions posed to him.

  5. Quentin Colgan says:

    Q: Or, just insult me!

Poe Guevara: you sad and malicious hypocrite!

    Thanks, Poe! (here’s a nickel!)

  6. Pie Guevara says:

Quentin, you forgot “What an oblivious arrogant fool.”

In any case, before ol’ Quenty went off on his latest arrogant, hypocritical and authoritarian rant, the question was —

“Senator, youve blamed the tea partybut do you bear any responsibility for this downgrade crisis?”

Holy Cow! No Senator (or even a Colgan) should have to tolerate that sort of “agitprop”!

    Off with their heads!

  7. Libby says:

The bio tag off Mr. Kelly’s report of his escapade reads as follows:

“Conservative satirist and commentator William J. Kelly is also a contributor to Breitbart.com and edits the Tea Party Reports for the Washington Times Communities.”

Now, is this the description or definition of a “reporter”? Don’t think so. This is the description of a fella with an agenda to promote and a solid track record of political bias.

And I’m afraid it’s also true that Durbin don’t have to talk to anybody he don’t want to. If his constituents don’t like his attitude, they can put somebody else in his chair.

What we’ve got here is a non-event, and I think the NYT can be forgiven for its lack of interest.

  8. Tina says:

Libby: “Now, is this the description or definition of a “reporter”?

Yesyes it is! Reporter: a person who writes about factual events for a living.

Journalist: a person who collects and disseminates information about current events, people, trends, and issues.

Had you read the entire entry, instead of cherry picking, you would have included The American Spectator and the Washington Times who see fit to publish his work (and send him out into the world to collect and disseminate information)

You people are just a little miffed that the antique media has been losing audience share as well as revenue and can no longer create reality or control the dialogue in American discourse.

“Durbin don’t have to talk to anybody he don’t want to…”

No, he “don’t”…which is why he looks so bad in this video.

“If his constituents don’t like his attitude, they can put somebody else in his chair.”

Why Libby…you never let on that you were a fortune teller before!

“What we’ve got here is a non-event, and I think the NYT can be forgiven for its lack of interest.”

Is that what you call it! Okay…he still looks the perfect fool.

  9. Pie Guevara says:

    Now Libby chimes in!

One village idiot left to go.

The meeting was open to the public and the press. Heaven forbid that press or public ask a question that might make Senator Durbin uncomfortable! Durbin did not just not answer, he had the questioner removed by force.

Libby, your comment does not surprise me one bit. The left is jam packed full of puffed up authoritarian cowards like you, Quentin, and Senator Durbin. You can’t tolerate any heterodoxy, no matter how mild. So, of course, this is a “non-event” to you! DUH!

The question was: “Senator, youve blamed the tea partybut do you bear any responsibility for this downgrade crisis?”

    Throw the bum out!

  10. Pie Guevara says:

Holy moly, I actually got the last word? I shut up Colgan and Libby?

Chris, where are you when I need you?
