Info on Wall Street Protesters

The following are a list of demands that may or may not represent all the WS protesters ideas, but it certainly is endorsed by a lot of them:

Demand one: Restoration of the living wage. This demand can only be met by ending “Freetrade” by re-imposing trade tariffs on all imported goods entering the American market to level the playing field for domestic family farming and domestic manufacturing as most nations that are dumping cheap products onto the American market have radical wage and environmental regulation advantages. Another policy that must be instituted is raise the minimum wage to twenty dollars an hr.

Demand two: Institute a universal single payer healthcare system. To do this all private insurers must be banned from the healthcare market as their only effect on the health of patients is to take money away from doctors, nurses and hospitals preventing them from doing their jobs and hand that money to wall st. investors.

Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.

Demand four: Free college education.

Demand five: Begin a fast track process to bring the fossil fuel economy to an end while at the same bringing the alternative energy economy up to energy demand.

Demand six: One trillion dollars in infrastructure (Water, Sewer, Rail, Roads and Bridges and Electrical Grid) spending now.

Demand seven: One trillion dollars in ecological restoration planting forests, reestablishing wetlands and the natural flow of river systems and decommissioning of all of America’s nuclear power plants.

Demand eight: Racial and gender equal rights amendment.

Demand nine: Open borders migration. anyone can travel anywhere to work and live.

Demand ten: Bring American elections up to international standards of a paper ballot precinct counted and recounted in front of an independent and party observers system.

Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all. Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages, home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans now! All debt must be stricken from the “Books.” World Bank Loans to all Nations, Bank to Bank Debt and all Bonds and Margin Call Debt in the stock market including all Derivatives or Credit Default Swaps, all 65 trillion dollars of them must also be stricken from the “Books.” And I don’t mean debt that is in default, I mean all debt on the entire planet period.

Demand twelve: Outlaw all credit reporting agencies.

Demand thirteen: Allow all workers to sign a ballot at any time during a union organizing campaign or at any time that represents their yeah or nay to having a union represent them in collective bargaining or to form a union.

These demands will create so many jobs it will be completely impossible to fill them without an open borders policy.

    This list appears on occupywallst.org.

They write, “This is not an official list of demands. (Blah, blah, blah.) There is NO official list of demands.

    http://occupywallst.org/forum/proposed-list-of-demands-for-occupy-wall-st-moveme/

Nevertheless, Occupy Wall Street organizations and offshoots have used and disseminated this list to explain their positions.

Well, I will try to get Downtown today. Couldn’t make it yesterday, had to work.

I’ll write it into my “To-Do List”. Once it’s on the Official To-Do List it’s chances of getting done are greatly increased. The ‘List’ adds respectability to an otherwise capricious action.

Sometimes my to-do list gets away with itself. It gets so long, it’s physically impossible. Sometimes, I start out with one to-do list, and other things pop-up and insinuate themselves. Like the day I found a rat turd in my garage – had to lock-down and go into full counter-terrorism mode. There went the rest of the afternoon – but we got our perp – fattest ugliest little b-tard since Karl Rove.

But of course, it usurped a lot of important things on the list like “strap a camera to your head and go Downtown…”

I’ll try to worm it in between cleaning the p-traps and washing out garbage cans. I love being a landlady so much, it’s hard to get away.

Plus, I have not figured out how to get the video from the spy camera onto the computer – wish me luck there, and I might have something for you. These gadgets, you know, they’re cheap, but the instructions are written so tiny we have had to use our Cracker Jacks magnifying lens to read them.

If I can’t get Downtown I’ll send you some footage we took swimming in the creek a few weeks ago.

Here’s an action packed 14 second video of the Downtown Chico activities at 9:15 am today:

It’s a wild, fast paced, 14 second video, very quickly showing all that was to be seen… At least at 9:15am this morning…

While is has been difficult if not impossible to discern the goals of the Occupy One Place Or Another crowd, an Occupy L.A. speaker has announced that for the Occupiers to achieve their goals, violence and bloodshed will be necessary.

Now, if we can only figure out what those goals actually are.

    http://pajamasmedia.com/tatler/2011/10/11/occupy-l-a-speaker-violence-will-be-necessary-to-achieve-our-goals/

The Pajama’s Media writer in the above notes, “Every single day, more videos emerge from the Occupy movement showing people saying things that, if they had been said by a Tea Partier, would have been front-page news for weeks and discredited the movement forever. But since its the Occupy Wall Street movement, darlings of the media and Democratic politicians, they get a pass.”

    Spot on.

Don’t miss the other video links in the above web page. They are real eye openers.

    I FOUND ONE!

I found a video of an Occupy event (in this case Los Angeles) that does not feature some half baked, inarticulate clown. This man is a Communist lunatic, but not a clown. Just imagine having him for a professor.

Like Quentin Colgan wrote, the Communists are coming! Right out of the woodwork and into Occupy This Or That events.

Clearly the message of this Occupy L.A. event is one of revolution and redistribution of wealth. That may or may not be what the Occupy movement is all about, but I have a hunch that is exactly what it is all about for many of the participants.

The dirt bags are being told to get out of the park they have been squatting in so that the park can be cleaned. I guess it is cleaning day at the zoo. How would you like that job?

  8. Chris says:

Pie: “The Pajama’s Media writer in the above notes, “Every single day, more videos emerge from the Occupy movement showing people saying things that, if they had been said by a Tea Partier, would have been front-page news for weeks and discredited the movement forever.”

What does he mean, “if?” Tea Party members have implied that violence may be necessary to their movement countless times.

No one should get a free pass on that. The guy quoted by Pajamas Media is a moron and a nutcase, and he does not speak for me, nor does he speak for most of the Wall Street protesters.

  9. Tina says:

We can do whatever we want and someone else must pay for it…some platform.

Well, clearly these maniacs believe that money grows on trees and all one must do is wave a magic wand to make them bloom.

Our educational system has failed…utterly…to prepare young people to be thinking, productive, contributing American citizens.

There isn’t an ounce of personal responsibility in any of these proposals.

Colter is right…this is THE FLEA PARTY…a mass of wingless bloodsucking parasites.

  10. Post Scripts says:

Tina, it is certainly shaping up that way.

  11. Pie Guevara says:

Coulter and I are on the same wavelength here.

The Pajama’s Media person has it right.

Nevertheless I AM STILL seeking videos of people involved in the bizarre and weird Occupy This Or That movement who are not utter lunatics.

I did find one (noted above) out of countless whack-jobs featured on YouTube and elsewhere on the web.

MY CHALLENGE REMAINS THE SAME FOR ALL THE LEFT-WING HARPYS WHO FREQUENT POST SCRIPTS: FIND AND POST LINKS TO VIDEOS OF INTERVIEWS WITH THE “OCCUPY ANY PLACE MOVEMENT” THAT DO NOT FEATURE MORONS AND NUTCASES. (As a lovely fellow left winger in here described one of his comrades in camp.)

Put up or shut up ladies and gentlemen.

Seriously. Help me out here. You kids should be able to come up with something. After all, you are the 99%, right?

Or at THE VERY LEAST, express what you think should be the goals of the OCCUPY AND CAMP OUT WHERE EVER WE DURN WELL PLEASE MOVEMENT.

Give me something I can chew on. Remonstrate, demonstrate me. Show me the light. Put up or shut up.

  12. Chris says:

Pie, I’m not clear on what your standards are for people who are “not lunatics.” Is someone who simply advocates for higher taxes on the rich, better regulation, and more investment in social welfare and infrastructure a “nutjob” to you?

I don’t have video right now, but I do have a link to the movement’s tumblr page in which many of the 99% express their personal and political concerns. Do these people seem crazy to you?

    http://wearethe99percent.tumblr.com/

  13. Pie Guevara says:

As loathe as I am to answer Chris (I truly am done with him) I will in this instance.

You haven’t answered the challenge. You provided a web page with a list of complaints, not proposals or a discussion of possible solutions. (Perhaps these folks should be taking the time to ask and think about how Obama’s nearly trillion dollar “stimulus” has been totally squandered. The answer is fairly simple, there is plenty of analysis and evidence out there.)

Maybe I did not make it clear. I am looking for “Occupy” proposals, demands, discussion, solutions, and the like that is not totally whacked.

So, the challenge remains. Put up or shut up.

While I would like to see at least one or two videos presented from the left that run contrary to the hundreds of whack-o documentary videos I have already viewed, I’ll take the written word, a web page, audio, whatever.

So far it appears that I will have to keep searching all on my own. I found one (noted above), as time progresses I will find more.

At the risk of blowing my own horn and pulling a Quentin, I consider myself a pretty darn good web searcher. I know where to go, left, right, center and extremes. From Nazi Skinheads to Anarchists wearing Nike shoes.

I read and view a wide segment of things social and political, including polar opposites from The Nation to The American Thinker, from The Guardian to the Wall Street Journal. National, international, Christian, Islamic, Pagan, Atheist. Not to mention science. Think spread spectrum.

As such I have little compassion or sympathy for the parochial. Wake up and get dialed in. The internet is one of the single greatest achievements of human beings and the advancement of a free marketplace of ideas.

  14. Libby says:

“Coulter and I are on the same wavelength here.”

    And you’re bragging on this?

Your web research has, alas, omitted the obvious. I’ve heard on NPR a profile of some Google Geek who is young and unattached and has thrown up his rather lucrative position to post press releases in a wet tent in Manhattan.

I’ve also heard reporting of the October 6th parade which asserts that teachers, fire fighters and plumbers turned out, entirely counter to what Ms. Malkin would have you believe.

We will just have to see. But I’ll tell you this … all of your, and Ms. Malkin’s, fatuous blow-harding is just provoking the youngsters. You don’t want to do that.

  15. Pie Guevara says:

Libby’s fatuous blowing smoke up everyone’s patoot is legendary in Post Scripts. Keep blowing, Libby, I like my meat smoked.

Libby, you have been challenged. Put up or shut up.

(Oh, forget it, you will NEVER put up. You have nothing, you know nothing. You are, in fact, a paradigm of the “Occupy This Or That” protester. A sad but true. Depressing even. This is the left. This is all they bring to the table.)

Speaking of provoking youngsters, Ann Coulter has never (to my knowledge) encouraged young people to resort to bloody revolution as “Occupy” speakers do to the cheers of the mob. She and Malkin provoke young and old to think, analyze, evaluate, and vote accordingly.

Which is, of course, something Libby fears.

God bless Ann Coulter and Michelle Malkin. They are excellent and well informed social and political commentators.
