    Wow, Tina, great stuff. Thanks!

Facing criticism Reuters has completely back tracked on their Soros connection to Occupy Wall Street. What wimps, they yanked the page! Gee, I wish I had saved a copy. It sure gave me a laugh. I was going to write David Horowitz and tell him how Reuters sources discoverthenetwork.org. Maybe I still will.

Of course, the Soros connection to Occupy Wall Street is indirect. That is how he meant it to be. That is, in fact, the very purpose of his funding organization The Tides Center. It is what The Tides Center is all about!

I was completely unaware of the Reuters backtrack until just now when I tried to look up the original story on the web. Wow, did they cave fast or what? No guts, no glory.

Looks like Van Jones’ finger prints are all over OWS with his “American Autumn” remarks on MCNBS.

    ==========

“In an appearance on MCNBCs The Last Word, Jones told Lawrence ODonnell that he is going to build astrotruf a Progressive Liberal counterbalance to the TEA Party. He calls this so-called anti-TEA Party movement an American Autumn and intends for it to be just like the Arab Spring. Jones warns us there is going to be an Autumn offensive to take back the American dream starting with a conference and rally in Washington, D.C. next week.”

Pie you are right on about Soos, he, like Obama, pretends to be an outside observer when in fact he funds hundreds of such organizations.

  4. Tina says:

Peggy, thanks for the Redstate link. I particularly enjoyed the update about how Autum was a more imaging choice since it signals decline. Lets hope the American people reject this utterly failed party befor we hit the deep freeze of death called winter!

  5. Toby says:

They are going to meet at the Planned Parenthood in DC. They will sacrifice a few little humans and then it is down to business.

  6. J Soden says:

Delegates? Delegates are usually nominated and elected, not self-appointed. If that’s the case then any of these ACORN rejects can attend.

And I’m sure cities will be clamoring for the National Convention of the Unwashed/Flea Party to be held in their city . . . .

There was an even better article written a year or so ago about American Autumn I stumbled across when searching for the Van Jones information, but have been unable to refined it. If I do I’ll post it.

It explained that this OWS was planned for this time of the year because of the meaning of the fall season being the time trees lose their leaves and symbolically the death of America.

  8. Pie Guevara says:

Here is Mark Steyn’s take on OWS and American Autumn. It is recommended reading. Steyn skewers Van Jones and the OWS crowd in his usual brilliant manner.

    American Autumn
The zombie youth occupying Wall Street are contemptuous of the world that sustains their comforts.

    OWS Autumn, TEA party Spring!

  9. truth says:

The reason Reuters backed off is they found out that not one dime has come from Soros.

Plenty of new groups get fiscal sponsorship from groups that are set up to handle donations. Existing groups agree to be a fiscal sponsor to help organizations get off the ground. They process the donations for the group, but do not give them money from their other projects.

OWS’s fiscal sponsor has projects that Soros donates too, but none of Soros’s money has gone to OWS.
