Chico’s Air Museum is now open Friday’s thru Sunday. 10 am till 4 pm Admission is free. There’s actually three sections to see – the main indoor section (loaded with historical artifacts) and outdoor display showing a P2 Orion, an F-15, a Soviet L-29 jet trainer, a Reno air racer, a modern glider, Russian transport, etc. And that’s not all, then there’s the airport’s sidewalk enhancement project. This is a very cool historical review of local aircraft, but it’s technically not part of the museum. Also there’s the City fantastic sculpture in polished stainless steel that is a tribute to flight on the S/E corner of the terminal parking lot. Plan on spending at least an hour or two to see it all.

Bring the kids – support your local air museum with your attendance, classrooms welcome!
