Obama Taken Seriously – EPA Challenged

Posted by Tina

From John Dunn and Steve Malloy at The American Thinker:

Texas Republican Congressman Joe Barton asked for EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson’s attention in his opening statement at a Feb. 28 House Energy and Commerce Committee hearing, berated her and held her to account.

Congressman Barton’s opening statement ticked off the following list of problems he had with the EPA, including agency: 1. Failure to comply with Obama Executive Order 13563 requiring regulations that promote economic growth, innovation, competitiveness and jobs with the least burdensome tools for achieving regulatory ends, taking “into account benefits and costs, both quantitative and qualitative” (continues to list 8 points total)

It’s a beginning. Evidence that Republicans in congress have been working hard and have a strong desire to deliver…we’ll watch for the follow through and be prepared to lend our support!

Yesterday I decided to watch one of the movies on my Netflix instant watch list. I chose The Wave without knowing anything about it and now Im still in a state of disbelief that this actually happened and could be happening again now.

I recommend this movie and the below article for everyone, especially those with children and grandchildren in school.

    The Wave (2008 film)
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Wave (German: Die Welle) is a 2008 German film directed by Dennis Gansel and starring Jrgen Vogel, Max Riemelt, Jennifer Ulrich, Jacob Matschenz and Frederick Lau. It is based on the book The Wave which was inspired by the social experiment The Third Wave. The film was produced by Christian Becker for Rat Pack Filmproduktion. It was quite successful in German cinemas, and after 10 weeks 2.3 million people had watched the film.

The high-school is having a project week and Wenger discusses autocracy with his class. His students, third generation after the Second World War,[1] do not believe that a dictatorship could be established in modern Germany, so Wenger starts an experiment to demonstrate how easily the masses can be manipulated. Two classes are chosen: Wenger’s to be the autocracy group, and another to be the anarchy one. Since Wenger himself is an anarchist, he accepts his role only because the other teacher refused to switch. However, he goes into the project with enthusiasm and, as a popular teacher, has the students’ full attention.

I think Obama is brilliant. I just wish he would use that brilliance for helping America. The most brilliant thing he did was adopt Romneycare as Obamacare. I’m sure he had to know that Romney would be running against him and now we are all screwed because Obamacare is more conservative than Romneycare. Romneycare covers abortions and illegals which Obamacare doesn’t. So how is Romney supposed to run against Obama when articles like this are coming out?

    http://www.businessweek.com/news/2012-03-26/romneycare-s-98-percent-success-rate-defies-gripes-on-obama-law

Romney sucks so bad it isn’t even funny. There is no way at all I will vote for him. Zero. Obama’s health care hasn’t helped me AT ALL. I have a $45 co-pay and spend $600 a month to insure my family. We also have a high deductible if we end up needing surgery or emergency care. So if I ask the question I can answer “NO” I am not better off today than I was 4 years ago. Everyone I know is about the same. My 401k is better, but it would have been better with or without Obama.

What I want to hear is Republicans talk to me about restoring my civil rights that Obama’s DOJ is gobbling up. I don’t want Republicans to talk to me about how bad birth control is for America.
