The state that was chosen to host the Democrat convention held a primary yesterday. Not only did the state pass an amendment to their constitution stating that marriage is between a man and a woman, the President lost his bid for reelection in ten counties to a man named Keith Jed, a Texas inmate, 41% of West Virginia’s Democrat Primary voters, which could include independents or other lesser party voters, voted for Judd.

The writing on the wall for the President is clear. West Virginian is the home to a lot of coal mining and the voters there are not happy with Obama’s anti-coal policies. Democrat Governor Joe Manchin was mad enough back in October of 2010 to file a lawsuit!

“Over the past year and a half, we have been fighting President Obama’s administration’s attempts to destroy the coal mining industry,” Manchin said at a news conference Wednesday.

“People’s jobs are in jeopardy,” Manchin said. “We’ve got too much of our economy and too many jobs and people’s families at stake.”

Hitting back, the president chose today to announce his evolving opinion on gay marriage has solidified at last:

“I have hesitated on gay marriage in part because I thought that civil unions would be sufficient,” Obama said in an interview with ABC at the White House. He added that, “I was sensitive to the fact that for a lot of people the word ‘marriage’ was something that invokes very powerful traditions, religious beliefs and so forth.”

Now, he said, “it is important for me personally to go ahead and affirm that same-sex couples should be able to get married.”

The West Virginia primary election reflects the disatisfaction and contentions that will make this a very tough battle over a long hot summer for both the President and his opponent Romney should he become the official Republican candidate. But it seems to me that when a fairly big chunk of Democrats and Independents would rather vote for a convicted criminal than their incumbent president it doesn’t say much for the incumbent.

I would love to see that vetting process, lol. I love this story and I would like to know more about this guy. He must have something going for him to have that many people pulling for him. He made Obama look like an ass and he made me laugh, he is my hero of the week.

Tina, why does that inmate have a muskrat hanging on his shoulder?

The pundits say Obammie is a shoe-in. Well, maybe not if gas prices stay high and he’s sure not going to win WV.

And you can bet Lyin Williams, little Scott Pelley and the rest of them in the MSM won’t mention the muskrat man tonight on your evening propaganda…er…sorry…I mean nightly news.
