Florida Illegal Voter Purge Update

Posted by Tina

As the two contenders for the Presidency speak to constituents in the state of Ohio today authorities in the state of Florida quietly continue in their work to ensure that only those eligible to vote are granted ballots in the November election:

While partisan Democrats and vote-fraud enthusiasts bleat about the supposed unfairness of validating voter registration, the state of Florida quietly continues discovering illegal voters. Responses to the certified letters sent to 2,600 questionable registered voters continue to trickle in. Many of those challenged by the Florida Department of State have been able to produce documentation showing they are, in fact, legal voters.

And many have not.

The one thing you almost never hear in media reports about this supposedly “controversial” procedure, which the Justice Department just filed suit to halt, is how many illegal voters it has discovered. According to a report in the Naples Daily News on Wednesday, that tally now stands at 96.

That’s ninety-six people who would have been “disenfranchised” if Florida had not detected the ineligible voters. The number of legitimate voters accidentally and unfairly disenfranchised by Florida’s procedure, meanwhile, is zero.

One very effective tactic employed by one wily investigator was to compare names with people who had been excused form jury duty…because they were not citizens. It begs the question, “Why have we made it so easy to register to vote?”

This “purging of voter rolls” should be going on in every county in the U.S. prior to every election.

One thing we may also need to rethink is how Americans are registered in the first place. Proof of citizenship at registration might be a more important solution than proof of eligibility at the voting site.

I would love to hear what Obtuse or whatever he/she is calling themselves today thinks about this issue. Should be very illuminating.

    The Democrats’ victory in Wisconsin

Although it was decidedly encouraging to see the testicular fortitude displayed by Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker running up to his recent recall election, the forces marshaled to defeat the parasitic public-sector unions (I speak of the aggregate, not the workers) and Walker retaining his office, I would not so soon declare the event a victory. Nor would I harbor too much confidence in its portends vis–vis the general election in November.

What follows is likely to be a disturbing and somewhat unwelcome analysis, but as they say, the truth will set you free.

It has been bemusedly noted by conservatives that the Democratic voter turnout in Madison, Wis., was in the area of 119 percent, likely owing to rampant voter fraud of the kind Florida Gov. Rick Scott is currently attempting to ameliorate in his state through a purge of voter rolls. Progressive news outlets put on the spin that the turnout in Madison only appeared inordinately large because Wisconsin allows same-day voter registration.

Personally, I dont find it amusing for a few reasons. The first is that the orchestrated corruption of the left (unions, MoveOn.org types, etc.) would be sufficient to bring about a turnout as high as 119 percent, even with the illegal alien and the zombie vote (those voting under the name of deceased voters). The second is that these fraudulent devices are being vigorously defended by President Obamas criminally culpable Attorney General Eric Holder. That this could present a problem in the general election should be a no-brainer.

‘Tis smart to be ever vigilant, Peggy. Thanks for sharing this perspective.

One thing that might change this worrisome possibility would be a landslide victory or at least a victory that is substantial…otherwise, I fear, it will be another messy smelly election.

I guarantee the socialist POS knows he is heading for a Carter style @$$ kicking come November. That is why he just illegally granted amnesty to millions of illegal alien voters. I know the MSM says it’s 800k but this number is as fictitious as every other number put out by the regime.
I have already got some feedback from one first generation American citizen with Mexican immigrant parents who busted their butts to achieve citizenship. To say they are not pleased with this would be a HUGE understatement.
Did you hear the little dictator’s speech? He was spewing some sewage about this allowing children who “say the pledge of allegiance” blah, blah, blah. Hearing that @$$ hole talk about the pledge of allegiance actually made my skin crawl.
I again eagerly await input from any and all on this latest affront to the American way of life and our paid for in blood freedoms.
You are either for Law and Justice or you are a democrat!

How much is the purge costing taxpayers? How many fraudulent voters have been uncovered and removed from the rolls?
