Congressman Darrel Issa announced today the republicans in the House will file suit against AG Eric Holder to force him to release the documents they have been demanding for the last 8 months. So far Holder has not yielded, even when threatened by a contempt of Congress charge.
This suit is one more legal step in an effort to compel Holder to release documents associated with the failed “Fast and Furious” gun-walking operation.
“We’ll be filing a civil case during the break,” Issa told NBC, “We will expect a day in court before a federal judge, which we have a 100 percent chance that the judge will hold that these documents should be delivered.”
There is also a 100% chance that if the judge does order Holder to release the documents that he and his democrat pals will find another judge to issue an injunction against releasing the documents, likely under the guise that it’s national security issue or something along those lines.
