CAR SHOW IN CHICO

by Jack Lee

The Sierra View Region of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America held their 9th Annual Hot August Days Car Show today.

Lots of cool cars for a hot summer day. The attendance was good, despite the smoke from several large fires in the nearby mountains.

The eye candy was not limited to the cars either…. nothing like a hot babe on a hot Harley. This custom bike had a Gary Brouhard paint job. Don’t know who Gary is?? He has a famous custom cycle shop in Rocklin and turns out a lot of award winning bikes. This Harley has been pumped up to over 105 HP.

Now a few of the hot rods and restorations….

Nice bike. Didn’t I just see it Thursday morning?

Love Woody wagons too. Grew up in one. I had the middle seat and my brother had the larger back seat.

  2. Post Scripts says:

As a matter of fact Peggy you did. Ya, it’s my bike… it rarely leaves the garage, can’t afford to replace it!
