Ex-Navy Seals Died After a Long Fire Fight with Attackers

The two former Navy SEALs killed in last week’s attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi were not part of Ambassador Chris Stevens’ official security detail. They took up arms in an effort to protect the facility when it was being overrun by insurgents, U.S. officials now report.

The two former SEALS, Tyrone Woods, 41, and Glen Doherty, 42, were not employed by the State Department diplomatic security office and instead were what is known as personal service contractors who had other duties related to security, the officials said.

They stepped into action, however, when Stevens became separated from the small security detail normally assigned to protect him when he traveled from the more fortified embassy in Tripoli to Benghazi, the officials said.

The two ex-Seals and others engaged in a lengthy firefight with the extremists who attacked the compound, a fight that stretched from the inner area of the consulate to an outside annex and a nearby safe house — a location that the insurgents appeared to know about, the officials said.

The Obama administration’s initial account of the Libyan consulate attack didn’t give the full story about two ex-Navy SEALs who helped repel the security breach until they were killed and I wonder why?

Reports of Muslim atrocities:

attacks in Mumbai, India, Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and his wife, Rivka, were both tortured and raped, and their bodies were desecrated. According to the Mumbai Police, the Rabbi was castrated while still alive. “Even the Rabbi and his wife at Nariman House were sexually assaulted and their genitalia mutilated,” said a senior officer of the investigating team.

Many videos exist of kidnappers reciting verses from the Qur’an before decapitating their victims. The desecration of a victim’s body is justified by Muslim extremists, who base their behavior on Mohammed’s declaration to Muslims to humiliate and subdue non-believers:

” Muslim recorded from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet said, ‘Allah said, until they pay the Jizyah, if they do not choose to embrace Islam, with willing submission, in defeat and subservience, and feel themselves subdued, disgraced, humiliated and belittled. Therefore, Muslims are not allowed to honor the people of Dhimmah or elevate them above Muslims, for they are miserable, disgraced and humiliated.’ ”

In Libya, there is ample evidence that former ruler, Col. Moammar Gadhafi, was tortured and sexually violated before being shot in the head by his captors. Gruesome videos have surfaced showing the former Libyan leader pleading for his life while being beaten and sexually abused. One very disturbing video is described in the following report:

“Meanwhile, a new video has sparked outrage across the world, over what is believed to be a gross violation of human rights. A frame-by-frame analysis of the video clearly shows a rebel trying to insert an object into Gadhafi’s rear end.”

More information should become become available over the next few days. What we know at this time is that the accusations are based on a report from a legitimate Lebanese news organization, and we know this kind of despicable behavior has occurred in the past.
