Today we have roughly 170,000 deaths from Covids-19 in the USA. The overwhelming the number of these deaths were due to high risk patients. Almost none of the fatalities were children. That’s bad, I admit, but not nearly as bad as deaths from heart disease: 635,260. Cancer: 598,038. Covid’s isn’t even in the same ballpark and those other illnesses happen year after year and we nary bat an eye. Yet for COVID’s we are will to killing an economy and thus destroy the lives of 300-325M Americans.
Now contrast this 170K against the number of people who die every year, from all ages, from preventable mistakes in the hospital, estimated at 440K annually. Have you heard much said about that number? How does that compare to the number of preventable deaths caused by the police. That would be about 440,000 to about 50 and only about 5-6 annually qualify as an illegal homicide. Now hold that thought.
Lets say you were a space alien and you just landed in America. Then you saw what we are doing to our country over COVIDs, the rioting, crazy city councils, groups like ANTIFA and BLM, you might conclude there’s a whole lot of stupid in America. Dangerous levels of stupid. You might want to get right back in your space ship and leave before this place blows up and this is without even meeting Donald Trump or Joe Biden.

It is with great sadness that I must report the passing of Riley the Dog. He was a Golden Retriever of some notoriety in Chico and a best friend to Cassandra and Jack.
He was known and loved by many, both by his fans on the internet (Facebook) and in his home town of Chico. He frequently appeared at the Save Chico rallies and at protests against the drug needle HRC giveaway program.
Riley was always ready to meet people with a big goofy grin. He was friendly to just about anyone. There were times when, because of Riley’s friendly nature, that he created an opening for dialog between people of opposing politics at they both petted Riley.
Although he had a friendly nature, Riley was also loyal and fiercely protective of best friend Cassandra. When she would go out for her evening runs, Riley was always at her side.
One time when they were out walking, an angry Pitbull broke through a wood fence in his backyard, raced into the street and headed straight for Cassandra. But, Riley was on the job, he pulled tightly against the leash to intercept. He reared up, growling and barking. He pulled so hard against his leash Cassandra was almost pulled off her feet! Riley was on two legs as was the Pitbull and met in this weird dance head on. The Pitbull was quickly chased off by several neighbors and amazingly Riley suffered no injuries. Cassandra was shaken, but she was otherwise unhurt.
Riley was Cassandra’s constant companion, running, biking, hiking, swimming, he loved to travel with her anywhere. Most of time this was by car, he just loved going. This part of his life was a good fit for Cassandra, because her job required her to travel a lot of hospitals in Northern California.
Riley was always there when she travelled, always ready to keep her company, especially on the extra long long road trips. He had a favorite place to sit in the back seat of her car, this was an area where he would lean forward and wedge himself between the two front bucket seats and stare out the front windshield right along with the driver, taking in all the sights.
If she forgot to tell him where they were going, Riley would eventually tap her on the shoulder with his right paw as if to ask where we goin Mama? Done with an inquisitive look (he kind of rolled ears forward too). Casandra had one of two standard replies for him, just so he would understand, “We’re going to the dog park Riley.” To which he would respond with a display of noticeable excitement. Or she would say, “We’re going to the store.” His response was less enthusiastic with this look of, “Oh, ok, least I now know.”
Riley was only here for a little over 10 short years, but they were 10 years filled with joy and love in a way that only another animal lover could fully appreciate. His presence will be felt on our hearts until our years finally come to an end. Good-bye old Riley, you will be dearly missed. Now I must break the news to my grandson….

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The newly elected district attorney in Portland on Tuesday announced a new policy that means that cases will be dismissed against dozens — and possibly several hundred — people arrested on lesser charges at the ongoing protests.
Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt (shown left) said the new policy recognizes the frustration over centuries of racial inequity being expressed by protesters and also recognizes the court’s need to conserve resources during the coronavirus pandemic.
Schmidt said there have been about 550 protest-related arrests since May 29 and only 133 of those are felonies. Most misdemeanor arrests will be dismissed.
“The protesters are angry … and deeply frustrated with what they perceive to be structural inequities in our basic social fabric. And this frustration can escalate to levels that violate the law,” Schmidt said.
Portland Police Chief Chuck Lovell, who was told of the policy change on Friday, said it doesn’t change Oregon law and still holds accountable people who commit violent acts or intentionally damage property. ”Committing a crime is different from demonstrating,” Lovell said in a statement. “The arrests we make often come after hours of damage to private property, disruption of public transit and traffic on public streets, thefts from small businesses, arson, burglary, attacks on members of the community, and attacks against police officers.”

Without further ado, the M1 Garand in 30.06 caliber and is the obvious choice by knowledgeable rifle shooters.
Designed by Canadian-born John C. Garand, an employee of the U.S. Armory at Springfield, Mass., the M1 Garand is a gas-operated, semi-automatic rifle fed from an eight-round en-bloc clip. At the time of its adoption in 1936, the M1 was truly the most advanced weapon system ever fielded. Early in the production stage they even tried it with a magazine, which I thought would have a worthwhile improvement, but such was not to be.
It was the first successful design capable of firing a full-power rifle cartridge via semi-automatic operation. As such, it can be argued that the M1 represented the first time America sent its boys to war with the best infantry rifle in the world, as the United States was the only nation to fully arm its troops with a self-loading design. Simply stated, the M1 was without equal on the battlefields of World War II.
By the time Germany and Japan had surrendered in 1945, more than 4 million M1 rifles had been produced by Springfield Armory and the Winchester Repeating Arms Co., and with good reason, for the M1 represented a quantum leap forward in engineering from the venerable old ’03 Springfield.
The semi-automatic design reduced the effects of felt recoil on the shooter, making it possible to train soldiers in less time than ever before. The sights were the best ever put on an American rifle up to that time. The rifle could be disassembled for cleaning and maintenance easily while in the field, a huge advantage over the Springfield.
But most importantly, the M1 had a much higher rate of fire, delivering 50 to 60 shots per minute by the average rifleman, which amounted to three times as much firepower than was possible with the Springfield. While our enemies fielded bolt-action rifles, the M1’s increased firepower simply enabled American soldiers to bring more to the fight. The 30.06 was also a more capable cartridge than the German 7.92×57mm or the Japanese 6.5 x 50mm. It far outclassed the British .303 round and the Russian 7.62 x 54R. The American 30-06 is ballisticly superior to all other rounds used by standard foot soldiers.
Editors insert: Over a hundred years ago in 1906, a new standardized rifle cartridge was adopted by the United States military and ironically it happened to be just the right bullet at the right time (see 30.06 on the right edge of the photo.) for the Garand.
The max range for the original 30.06 bullet was about 4700 yds, but since that greatly exceeded the distances available in 99% of the military ranges, the military had two choices, spend millions on new ranges or reduce the powder behind the bullet. The military chose the latter. So, the M1 Garand was specifically designed to shoot medium to warm loads. Shooting the really hot stuff that is available today would damage the old M1. That’s a good tip to remember, because most shooters assume if its a 30.06 round you can shoot in the M1, but that simply isn’t true. Well, lets make that… you can shoot it, but you will probably only do it once. Nuff said?
By the end of the M1’s service life, another 2 million rifles would be produced, a testament to Garand’s genius in creating a rifle that lent itself to a complex, time-consuming manufacturing process. In that regard, the M1 is a shining example of America’s war effort, representing the very best of American manufacturing at its height. (If our tanks were as good as the M1 the war would have been over 6 months earlier)
Forged in blood, coveted by friend and foe alike, the M1 won its admiration on many fronts. No less than Gen. Douglas MacArthur said, “The Garand rifle … is one of the greatest contributions to our Armed Forces,” while Gen. George S. Patton boldly declared, “In my opinion, the M1 rifle is the greatest battle implement ever devised.”
To an entire generation of fighting men, John Garand is a hero. Garand, the man who shaped wood and forged steel into their sword; and they, the courageous souls who charged into enemy fire from Normandy to Iwo Jima—their lives in his hands.
It’s John Browning who is most often recognized, deservedly so, as the greatest firearm designer of all time. But in this case, it was John Garand who caught lightning in a bottle and harnessed into an earthbound version of the hammer of Thor, the M1. And it was this, the greatest infantry rifle of all time, that helped change the course of human history.—Chad Adams

Last month (July 21, 2020) black assailants shot 16 people at a funeral home in Chicago.
Last Sunday (August 9, 2020) black on black violence erupted at a block party cookout in Washington D.C. 20 people (some reports say 21) were shot including an off duty police woman. More than half of the victims were women and a 17 year old boy was killed.
Both of these incidents were largely ignored by the liberal mass media and Democrats save a few brief mentions.
Last Tuesday Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser outrageously exclaimed, “It is important to the community that we have zero tolerance for this kind of activity.” What kind of activity? Her zero tolerance for public gatherings of people exceeding her 50 person limit!
This is the same Muriel Bowser who on June 5th painted BLACK LIVES MATTER over a two block stretch of street near the White House and renamed a section of 16th street in front of the White House “Black Lives Matter Plaza.”
The Warriors for Christ group has charged with Bowser violating the first amendment. Their court filing states — “Bowser’s paramount objective was to convey to the Plaintiffs and all other taxpayers the Black Lives Matter cult, which is a denominational sect of the religion of Secular Humanism, is the favored religion of the city and the Nation and that another who disagrees with their gospel narrative is a second class citizen.”
And what happens when conservative groups follow suit? In July following Bowser’s questionable actions an anti-abortion activist painted “Baby Lives Matter” on the street in front of a Planned Parenthood Clinic in Washington D.C. When two other anti-abortion activists from Students for Life of America attempted to write “Black Pre-Born Lives Matter” in chalk on the sidewalk in front of the same clinic they were arrested.
Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America says of Bowser, “She’s opened up the streets for public expression from any group. The mayor doesn’t get to choose what speech is allowed on streets and what’s not.”
Students for Life of America and Judicial Watch have both f,iled lawsuits arguing that Bowser does not get to pick and choose what is allowed speech.
Black on black violence and mass shootings occur in nearly every large city in the U.S. and hundreds die every year. The numbers are increasing. Yet where is the BLM? Nowhere. The only violence that concerns Black Lives Matter are the relatively rare occasions where a police officer injures or kills a black criminal under arrest without having his life or other lives put in extreme danger. BLM doesn’t give a damn about the enormous black on black violence problem. Those black lives don’t mean squat to them.
In 2019 51% of mass shooters were black, 29% were white, and 11% were Latino. Given that 61% of Americans are white, 17.8% Hispanic and 12.7% African-America.
To get a clear insight into the truth I recommend Post Scripts followers read a report from Heather Mac Donald where she states — “The per capita rate of officers being feloniously killed is 45 times higher than the rate at which unarmed black males are killed by cops. And an officer’s chance of getting killed by a black assailant is 18.5 times higher than the chance of an unarmed black getting killed by a cop.”
BLM’s interests are defaming the police, calling for defunding of police departments (ostensibly to fund social programs for blacks) and remove statues of people who owned slaves. But exactly what social programs are to replace police budgets? BLM isn’t specific. Moreover many Democrat political leaders have jumped on board this asinine agenda as well as the liberal mass media.
BLM also says it seeks the “dismantling White Supremacy, Patriarchy, Capitalism, Imperialism and the role the state plays in supporting them.” Dig the inclusion of capitalism in that statement. Can you say “communist?” Actually all of the above BLM agendas are exactly the same agendas of U.S.S.R communists who played up racism, imperialism and capitalism in order to try and discredit the U.S. and destroy our democratic system from within. Given the attitudes of BLM, the left in general, their street mobs and Democrat politicians it would seem that the Russian communists had at least some measure of success.
Of course many BLM members as well as Democrats and the left-wing street mobs prefer to identify themselves with the euphemism “socialist” in place of “communist.”
The truth is BLM uses a common tactic of Marxists and all left-wing radicals — they exploit blacks to bring about a Marxist revolution. The BLM is seeking a civil war in the form of a race war in order to disrupt and bring about their Marxist state ideal . They promote violence while pretending to represent the injustices towards blacks and have portrayed themselves as an new uprising of the oppressed in the inner city. In reality Black Lives Matter is a well-funded conglomeration of communist/socialist organizations that have been around for decades.
That conglomeration includes:

Radical left BLM co-founders Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi who collaborated to create the slogan and hashtag #BlackLivesMatterafter the acquittal of George Zimmerman. Their intent was (and is) is to stoke black rage and galvanize a violent protest movement.
Cullors was a protégé of Eric Mann, a convicted domestic terrorist who conspired to murder of officers of the Cambridge police headquarters on November 8, 1969. In the 1960s and ’70s Mann was a member of the Students for a Democratic Society and the Weather Underground (classified by the FBI in 1969 as a domestic terrorist organization) whose shared objective was to launch a race war against the “white” United States on behalf of the nonwhite Third World.
Like the Weather Underground the BLM’s goal is to launch a race war. In a speech at the annual Netroots Nation convention in Phoenix, Cullors exhorted fellow blacks to ”rise the fuck up,” ”shut this shit down,” and “burn everything down!”
Cullors has openly acknowledged BLM’s revolutionary Marxist objectives declaring “We actually do have an ideological frame. Myself and Alicia [Garza] in particular, we’re trained organizers. We are trained Marxists. We are super versed on ideological theories.”

The slogan “Hands Up-Don’t Shoot!”was popularized by Nelini Stamp and constitutes BLM’s big fat lie about shooting of Michael Brown. Stamp is director of strategy and partnerships for the The Working Families Party, a group that conceals left-wing extremism beneath a veneer of populist rhetoric. Pro communist Bernie Sanders was endorsed for president by the WPF. According to Stamp “we [the BLM] are actually trying to change the capitalist system we have today because it’s not working for any of us.” It is interesting to note that Stamp makes good money (over 225,000/year) by capitalizing as a professional leftist in the very system he advocates destroying.
Garza, Cullors and Tometi are all members of front groups of the Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO), which is one of the four largest radical left organizations in the U.S.
The FRSO’s main goal is to overthrow American society in order to replace it with a hardcore socialist (i.e. communist) one. FRSO is the direct offspring of the Mao Zedong inspired New Communist Movement which was populated by Marxist-Leninist and Maoist activists in the 1970’s and 80’s.
In addition their deeply rooted communist background you really need go no further than to read some of Yusra Khogali’s writ in order to fully understand the truth about the BLM —
“whiteness is not humxness, in fact, white skin is sub-humxn. All phenotypes exist within the black family and white ppl are a genetic defect of blackness.” (Khogali intentionally uses “humxn” instead of “human” in order to eliminate “man” from the word. This is a common practice among left-wing feminists.)
“white ppl need white supremacy as a mechanism to protect their survival as a people because all they can do is produce themselves. black ppl simply through their dominant genes can literally wipe out the white race if we had the power to.”
“melanin enables black skin to capture light and hold it in its memory mode which reveals that blackness converts light into knowledge. this is why the indegeniety of all humxnity comes from blackness. we are the first and strongest of all humxns and our genetics are the foundation of all humxnity.”
“melanin is essential for the efficient performance of all the body natural functions. THEREFORE white ppl are recessive genetic defects. this is factual.”

BLM sounds a lot like some “super humans” (er, “superhumxns”) of the 20th century who called themselves “Aryans.”
