OPEN LETTER to the PEOPLE of CHICO

Posted by Jack

TO THE PEOPLE OF CHICO

One way to look at the years prior to November 3 is as a community in an identity crisis. While some of us understood we were headed in the wrong direction, away from safety, cleanliness and beauty, there were others who believed in a different vision. In the past, Chico stood in sharp contrast to the major metropolitan centers of San Francisco and Los Angeles; more like Norman Rockwell than Mad Max.

Others lobbied for and pursued a different vision, based on permissive Progressive policies that have resulted in a growth of the street population, drugs, crime, environmental damage to our parks and waterways, needle litter, etc. All of this served to reduce access to our unique heritage; to a quality of life that drew people to stay here for life, and come back in search of what they could not find in the more Progressively run, large population centers.

We found ourselves in a situation where many of us, and perhaps most of us, believed we were destroying what we loved most about Chico, and what we sought most from whatever we include in our own concept of “quality of life.” I personally felt, soon after my return to Chico after 40 years away, that it was less than I remember, and it was slipping farther away every day.

I soon became one of the many people who were trying to work together to try to make a difference. We clean up the messes that were everywhere; parks, bridges, downtown, business establishments. We lobbied and tried to collaborate with others. We struggled, joined groups, then splintered off into many different groups and networks, but most understood all along that we were striving for the same outcomes. Once we established our own lanes, resolved disagreements on the margins, something amazing happened.

We got organized. We became effective advocates for our vision and gathered like-minded people around us, who also pitched in and did what they could. We began speaking as a community for something we deeply desired, a community that was better than what Chico had become.

We were naive. We believed if we could just explain things well enough, show up in numbers, make rational arguments, that we could get the City Council to serve our needs. Then the election of 2018 happened, followed closely by the Camp Fire, and then sometime later, the Covid epidemic. Through all of this, we learned something disturbing and freighting about the people who had assumed power over our lives. We faced tremendous opposition and growing momentum by those in power. We were surprised at the lengths to which they would go to impose their vision for Chico on the rest of us.

They did not want what we wanted. Not only that, but they were not about to be fair about it. We learned they were perfectly willing to use their power against us, against our efforts to improve the quality of life-based on their obligation, we thought, to provide for the general welfare of their constituents, the entire population of Chico. What we learned is that their intention was to use us only to fulfill their vision of some kind of utopian future where government saves everyone from themselves. We felt ignored, disrespected, and powerless, and we were.

Instead of giving up, leaving town, or leaving the state, as so many others have done, we got together and figured out how to fight for what we wanted. I’m not going to try to make a list of who’s who. You know who they are and you know who you are. Look around. This is your community. We all have good reason to feel proud of what we’ve accomplished.

But this is just the beginning. We have discovered a new world, and it needs to be returned to something we can proudly call “civil society”, where laws are enforced, safety is evident in our daily lives, the environment is returned to a pristine state and kept in that condition, our streets and public spaces are clean, inviting and functional, and children are having the kind of experiences growing up that only a place like Chico can provide. With that foundation of basic and unique quality of life, who would not want to live here, work here, establish a business here? Most everyone would, but we can’t satisfy the needs and desires of everyone. We need to start by taking care of the people who are here, and perhaps other communities will follow our lead and improve their own communities rather than trying to flock to Chico. But we want to be the kind of place that people want to live in.

So my message is this. We have captured the hill, but we have not won the battle, and the war is going to be long and difficult. If there is such a thing as a “new normal”, it will come from the realization that we got ourselves into this mess, not because of a failing of others, but a failing of ourselves.

While we went to work, cared for our family, parented our children, and enjoyed all that Chico has to offer, and it is considerable, we left the duties of citizenship to others, and they gladly and eagerly took it over, and used it as they desired. Before we realized what was happening, we had allowed a wall to be built between what we consider basic common sense, and the status-quo dysfunction of our current institutions of government. In that regard, Chico is a microcosm of the drama playing out in Sacramento and the national stage.

Proudly, Chico seems to be leading the way out of the morass. Fortunately, our elections were fair, we trust our Registrar of Voters, and we are not questioning the process or outcomes. That’s one for us. We now have the ability to follow a different path into the future than the one that seemed inevitable just a short few months ago. Now we have different expectations, very high expectations for can and should happen from here. Many of us, myself included, feel hopeful for the first time in a long time, and we have good reasons to feel that way. Let’s see what we can do with this opportunity.

Some things will be easier, like banning needles once and for all. Some things will be harder and will take more time, like returning our parks and waterways to something you want your children to inherit. But I believe that from December 1 forward, we will see a steady march towards more safety, a cleaner and healthier natural environment, and if that was not enough, a growing sense of beauty in all its forms.

We will face opposition, serious opposition. We are prepared for that, I think. But, here is the catch. If we as a community of citizens, fail to remain unified in our goals, become complacent in our actions, or lack the vigilance needed to hold the ground we gain, we will slip back into chaos. No more chaos! We’re full up around here.

TO THE NEW CITY COUNCIL

Congratulations to Andrew Coolidge, Kami Denlay, Sean Morgan, and Deepika Tandon, who join Kasey Reynolds in a common struggle to change the direction of Chico’s future. Expectations are high, and knowing each of you as I do, I know you are up to the challenge. We have 4 years. Act swiftly, but pace yourselves. In the first 100 days, we can tackle the low hanging fruit and set a few things on the right course. But the job you have taken is for the long haul. What you do together in the next four years will set the course for Chico for years far beyond your initial terms.

No matter how you organized this task and how you prioritize your goals, I know that every action will pass the test of improving safety, making our environment cleaner and healthier, and adding beauty and prosperity to our community as a whole. I am confident that your efforts will be on behalf of the entire population of the 120,000 souls, more or less, who lay their heads down in Chico. To do this, you must constrain your ambitions to only those things that Chico City Government can do, and leave the rest to those who have the responsibilities do the rest. We are not a social services agency, we are a social order agency. We establish community standards and enforce them against anyone who can’t or won’t respect them.

Harmful or destructive conduct must be first stopped, for the protection and safety of the citizens in your charge, before any next steps are considered. Environments must first be protected against ongoing abuse before any subsequent actions to return them to their proper pristine state. Once the abuse is curtailed, you will have willing helpers to assist you to clean it up for the final time.

In order for this community to thrive, we need a healthy local economy, which requires the types of industries we wish to attract, a skilled and willing workforce, a place for them to live, raise families, and enjoy the highest quality of life we can imagine. We need a fully staffed police force and an adequate fire department. We need decent roads, beautiful buildings, and an infrastructure that works. We need each other, so providing places and opportunities for us to gather and meet and enjoy the camaraderie that comes from sharing common values and goals, and working side-by-side to achieve them.

In short, we need our Chico back. I know you will work hard every day to make that happen.  To Scott Huber and Alex Brown, I say this: You could have tried harder to work with us. You didn’t, and in fact, worked against us. That was unnecessary, but that’s what you did, with the encouragement of your three colleagues who are no longer there. You will now experience what it’s like to struggle for relevancy. You reap what you sow, just like everyone else. You sowed divisiveness and tribalism and used your power to try to control the facts that you wanted everyone to believe. That was a mistake. Mistakes have consequences.

TO THE HOMELESS INDUSTRY

Fundamentally, you have failed us. You have had ample time and adequate resources to make a real difference, but the changes you have encouraged has made things worse, not better. I understand, perhaps more than many, that you don’t see it that way.

I think you believe you have used all the resources you could get your hands on to provide the services you think will help the people you believe you can help. You frame the “problem” as the gap between the flood of indigents that you call your “clients”, and the inadequate resources you can garner to build out the institutions of care you believe will satisfy this ever-growing need.

You believe, and I partially agree with you on this, that the “rules of the game” are established by the initiatives coming out of Sacramento, as your very existence is tightly integrated with the policies, programs and grants originating from our state institutions, upon which you strongly depend. Federal agencies also have a role in this. To hear you tell it, you are doing the best with what you have, and if you only had more, and you don’t really care where it comes from, you can “end homelessness in 10 years,” as you claimed 6 years ago. What you did not do is listen to those who tried to talk with you about what you believe.

We do not agree on the “problem.” For you, the problem is encouraging those you encounter on the streets to come to your attractive, supportive facilities and return to something called “housing”. Some do come, and you labor under the illusion that if you just could just never run out of resources, you could serve the needs of everyone you encounter.

The reality is that many more refuse your services than accept them. There is a reason for that. That reason is closely tied to the reason they qualify as your “clients” in the first place. For those you happily externalize to the rest of the community, then criticize us when we try to cope with the devastating impacts of their anti-social conduct. On the more radical fringe of the industry, those efforts are met with radical ideas for reform of our justice systems, as if there is something wrong with actually enforcing the laws on the books, there for the protection and general welfare of those who do live within established community standards.

Before November of 2018, at least some of the leaders of your industry were willing to engage in conversations along these lines, but after that election, you no longer had any use for anyone that thought you might be barking up the wrong tree. You found ample support for your visions for Chico as a homeless service center from the newest super-majority councilmembers. Many people were surprised and dismayed by the pace and scope of your ambitions, and the dramatic show of support you received from the Council in return.

Well, as the saying goes, “there is a new sheriff in town.” I hope you are getting ready to change along with the rest of us. Once the parks are no longer allowed to be homesteaded by your “clients”, you are going to be expected to do the best you can with the refugees from our public spaces.

When that happens, you will argue that we “can’t” and then you will argue that we “shouldn’t”. But we should and we can and we will. We will recapture our parks and public lands.  There will be a migration. They will be coming to you. I hope you are prepared. You have certainly had every opportunity to do so.

TO THE HOMELESS

I know many of you. I have spoken personally to hundreds of you. I have known more than one of you who died living the way you do. Life is hard. It is harder when you have experienced whatever you have, done what you have done, become who you are now. I get it. Reality bites.

Many of you, for whatever reasons, are addicted to drugs; heroin, meth, pot, and stuff I don’t know how to name. You started down that path long ago, and it has led you to Chico, living under bridges, sleeping in the bushes, and pitching tents in the parks. Some of you are ill, both mentally and physically, and you are languishing on the streets with no one to take on your condition and help you cope.

Some of you have abandoned hope. Some of you have abandoned the morals you once might have held. Your world has grown very small, and your time is consumed with the basics of life; eating, sleeping, digestion, and capturing enough to do what you do every day. However you get what you get, you tell yourself, is justified by your condition, and you can’t help it. You have to bend the rules a bit, maybe a lot, to make ends meet. Your options are very limited.

Then there are those of you who know a good thing when you see it, and given what you want out of this life, you have found Chico a convenient place to hang; people feel sorry for you and you take full advantage of that, even maybe telling them off when they don’t seem to feel sorry enough.

You do what you want and whatever you can, even if that means ripping others off, including the “housed” citizens, and your fellow homeless colleagues who are weaker and more vulnerable than you. You get whatever you can take, and somehow in your own mind, you know you are justified doing what you know is illegal because you “need” it. You have probably had many, many contacts with police, both here and elsewhere. You are surprised with just how much you can get away with, and it is surprising to me too.

To this last group, I have this message for you; the party in Chico is over. You will get it together, you will change your life, or you will get out, one way or another. You will get out through the vast network of services available to people like you, or you will find that enforcement has taken a turn for the worse, from your point of view. You will find that Chico is not the tolerant, welcoming community for your lifestyle as it used to be. Soon you will be reminiscing about how great it was to be homeless in Chico, and how we ruined it for you. Don’t be surprised. It’s coming.

For the rest, I have this to say. We are all human, and redemption is part of being human. Wherever you are on the path through life, it can get worse or it can get better. In that regard, you are no different than anyone else.

Some people are more successful at navigating the opportunities presented in life than others. Life is not fair that way. But then, we also are what we make of our opportunities, and no one can take responsibility for the decisions you make. As they say, you are free to make your own choices, but you are not free from the consequences of those choices.

However, when you are incapable of making competent decisions for whatever reasons, society is forced to take over these responsibilities for you. This means you surrender some of your liberties and submit to care because you cannot care for yourself. If your family is unable or unwilling to do it, social institutions step in and assume the responsibilities for your care, and citizens hold them accountable instead of you. We do this for the very old, the very young, the mentally or physically disabled, and criminals. If you are any of these, there is help to be had. But if you choose to refuse that help, life will get harder, because the rest of us cannot tolerate a few people wrecking the quality of life for everyone.

This is not a new idea. It has been with us since the dawn of civilization. We have learned to be kinder, more humane, and more effective in how we deal with people living beyond the margins of civil society, and that is a good thing for you, and for us. Believe it or not, people have the capacity for both compassion and enforcing community standards. Parents don’t hate their children just because we discipline them. We do not hate our parents just because we take over their care when they can no longer care for themselves. Just the opposite. We need not be ashamed for setting standards of conduct that we are willing to live within, or expecting others to do likewise, and we won’t.

When one door closes, another opens. The door to camping and living and preying on innocent citizens of Chico has closed. A door to a better life for you has opened. Also, a door for a worse, more difficult life has opened. I hope you have the capacity and ability to choose well.

Heroin, LSD, Cocaine, Meth, Legalized in Oregon

Posted by Jack

SALEM, Ore. - Oregon will become the first state to decriminalize possession of small amounts of drugs, including heroin and cocaine.

Voters on Tuesday passed Measure 110, which also expands addiction services using the state’s marijuana tax revenue.

“I think Oregonians made it clear that they support a more humane, effective approach to drug addiction,” Anthony Johnson, one of the measure’s chief petitioners, said Tuesday night. ”We took a huge step for funding more treatment and recovery services, and for ending racist drug war policies.”

Proponents said drug addiction is currently treated as a crime, not as a health disorder. With the removal of punishments for nonviolent drug offenses and better access to recovery services, they maintain individuals would have a better chance of getting their lives back on track.

Take away jail time and what’s left to motivate an addict into rehab?  Nothing!  That’s huge flaw in Oregon’s new ultra-liberal drug policy, isn’t it?

Do some fact-checking if you must, but an addict cares more about feeding their addiction than their money, their health, or even their family.   They will lie, cheat and steal to feed their addiction.  It’s been medically proven over and over, they can’t stop and they will do whatever it takes to maintain their habit. It’s only when addicts hit rock bottom and they are determined to change that rehab has the best chance of working .Forced intervention can stop them and clean up their thinking for at least the time they are in custody.  If they have drug rehab as an option to prison addicts will always take rehab, because it’s so much easier.   They are not really motivated to get clean.   And staying clean once they have completed the program is really hard because it’s up to them, thus drug rehab rarely works unless the addict is ready.  The failure rate for heroin addicts is not good at all, it’s about 98% failure.

A drug rehab program runs from about $40,000 up to over $100,000.    The shorter, cheaper rehab programs produce the worst results.

Prediction:  The Oregon experiment will spend a lot of money, cause many more problems than it solves, and finally it will end in total and complete failure, a very expensive and complete failure I might ad.   And the politicians will blame it on something other than a hopelessly flawed concept from the very start… like always.

by Jack

The unofficial vote count says that. . .

Sean Morgan,  handily won his re-election bid for City Council.

Kami Denlay, glided to an easy victory in her first-time bid for Council

Andrew Coolidge, determination finally paid off.

In another race, former Chicoan Nick Freitas-R, a graduate of Champion Christian School in Chico (and a frequent poster here on PS prior to his election bid) won his seat in the 7th Congressional District for VA.  Nick Freitas easily defeated the incumbent democrat with his campaign for pro-life, 2nd amendment, free-market economy, and lower taxes.

One Poll Shows Trump Winning in 2020 – They Got it Right in 2016

Posted by Jack

From the New York Times. . .

If President Trump pieces together an Electoral College win on Tuesday, at least one pollster — and perhaps only one — will be able to say, “I told you so.”

That person is Robert Cahaly, whose Trafalgar Group this year has released a consistent stream of battleground-state polls showing the president highly competitive against Joseph R. Biden Jr., and often out ahead, in states where most other pollsters have shown a steady Biden lead.

Trafalgar does not disclose its methods, and is considered far too shadowy by other pollsters to be taken seriously. Mostly, they dismiss it as an outlier. But for Mr. Cahaly, “I told you so” is already a calling card.

In 2016, its first time publicly releasing polls, Trafalgar was the firm whose state surveys most effectively presaged Mr. Trump’s upset win. A veteran Republican strategist, Mr. Cahaly even called the exact number of Electoral College votes that Mr. Trump and Hillary Clinton would receive — 306 to 227 — although his prediction of which states would get them there was just slightly off.

DIRTY TRICK by DEMOCRAT :

In what appears to be a blatant attempt at electioneering and, at minimum, extreme bias, the attorney general of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, tweeted on Saturday that President Donald Trump is going to lose the state. Shapiro also accused Trump of actively attempting voter suppression. Instead of signaling his intention to protect all of the state’s voters equally, Shapiro’s tweet made it appear that he had no intention of giving Trump supporters a fair shake.

Mortality Rates Dramatically Drop for COVIDs

This article originally appeared here on Salon.com

The chances of dying from COVID-19 have fallen precipitously since the pandemic began, according to two new peer-reviewed studies.

One study, from researchers at New York University’s Grossman School of Medicine, found that the death rate has gone down substantially among all age groups.

Editors note:  Do the math folks, it’s quite revealing.  The current mortality rate says about .25% or one-quarter of 1 percent of those who contract COVID-19 will die from or with it.   Doctors have learned how to treat COVID’s and that has led to a dramatic drop in the mortality rate.   At some point, common sense must prevail and we will resume normal business and reopen everything.  Private schools that have remained open in CA show no increased infection rate compared to schools that do extended classrooms via computer.

GOP Election Headquarters Vandalized

Posted by Jack

Election headquarters belonging to the campaign of New York Republican Rep. Tom Reed was vandalized, the congressman announced on social media Wednesday morning.

This is nothing new, the GOP has been terrorized by unhinged lefties for years.  The headline back in 2018 read, “Multiple Republican Offices Across the Country Vandalized.

A broken window greeted passers-by outside the Nebraska Republican Party’s office in Lincoln, Neb., on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Vandals threw a brick through the window overnight and scrawled the words “ABOLISH ICE” on the sidewalk below it. (AP Photo/Grant Schulte)

Also in 2018…

Throughout the past couple of months, Republicans and government officials who work for President Trump have received death threats, been run out of restaurants and stores, and followed to their cars. The uptick in harassment coincides with increasingly aggressive rhetoric from leading Democrats.

Here are 14 times Trump administration officials and Republican lawmakers have been threatened or run out of establishments recently.

  • Protestors to Mitch McConnell: ‘We Know Where You Live!’
  • Protestors Follow Elaine Chao To Her Car
  • Liberals Wish Rep. Steve Scalise Was Dead (this was in response to Maxine Waters-D, for mobs to go after republicans)
  • Liberal PAC Fundraises For Billboard Encouraging Passersby to ‘Take Out’ Scalise

  • Woman Screams Out Steve Bannon at a Bookstore
  • Woman Confronts Scott Pruitt At DC Restaurant With 2-Year-Old Son On Her Hip
  • Protestors followed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to his car outside of a restaurant in Kentucky on Saturday. In a video recording of the encounter, protestors are seen walking behind McConnell and shouting at him: “Vote you out!”

Chico- CA, 2020, the GOP has been targeted for election sign theft and vandalism, several Chico city council candidates have reported to the police that someone is stealing their yards signs almost as fast they can put them out.

In recent months this year, a Chico city councilperson has had her ice cream parlor attacked twice and a large plate glass window was shattered each time.   Presumably, this was related to her conservative stand on the council, however, no arrests have ever been made.

GOP Family Home Targeted… Again

Posted by Jack

Republican North Carolina congressional candidate Madison Cawthorn said on Wednesday that his home was vandalized.

“This was back on Friday, Oct. 9, I was waking up to go take engagement photos with my fiance, which I was very excited about, and then I wake up to these vandals, these little punks on my driveway, you know, they were gluing some of my signs to the driveway, they were spray painting pretty not so subtle threats on to them and then they were cutting the head and neck out of out my signs all over the district,” Cawthorn told “Fox & Friends.”

Cawthorn said that they also “went after” the billboards that were supporting people who worked in agriculture and farming.

“The people who kept us afloat during COVID-19,” Cawthorn said.

Representative Moe Davis, Cawthorn’s opponent said he didn’t have anything to do with the attack and neither did any of his supporters.  That may good enough for the mainstream media, but I think this ought to be investigated to its fullest extent.

Remember this one:  “On June 14, 2017, a gunman walked onto a baseball field at Eugene Simpson Park in Alexandria, Virginia, opening fire on politicians and wounding House GOP Whip Steve Scalise of Louisiana and four others.

The representatives had been practicing for the annual Congressional Baseball Game for Charity. James Hodgkinson, a 66-year-old man, asked a passing congressman—South Carolina’s Jeff Duncan—whether Republicans or Democrats were on the field practicing. Once he received confirmation that the Republican representatives were the ones playing ball, Hodgkinson fired off 60 rounds into the unsuspecting elected officials.”

Candidate’s Family Home is Attacked

Posted by Jack

Candidate Sean Parnell, the target of far-left crazies…..

“My house was vandalized last night by cowards under the cover of darkness. This is what is at stake in this election. We all must fight for our country and we must do it NOW. I will not cower. I will not back down. I will always fight for this nation,” he tweeted Sunday, accompanied by a photo of the vandalism.

“Elections no. Revolution yes!” the graffiti reads, accompanied by a depiction of a hammer and sickle on the ground.

“Regardless of political party, those that choose to run for office do so because they believe they can help the country. It is perfectly reasonable to disagree with each other and with political candidates, but the way to do that is at the voting booth. I believe that we are at an important point in our great nation’s history and I most assuredly stand against socialism, violence, and destruction,” Parnell said in a statement, according to Townhall.

“Hopefully, we all can respect our system of choosing our representatives in a peaceful and dignified way and no matter who we support and oppose, we do it with our vote, and not through destruction of property and violence to our fellow Americans,” he added.

Parnell is running in Pennsylvania’s 17th Congressional District against Rep. Conor Lamb. He is a combat war veteran and has been outspoken in his support of President Trump.

“Vote and let’s get Donald Trump four more years in the White House,” Parnell said at a rally in his state last month.

Trump endorsed the Republican back in May.

A Warning From a High Religious Authority

Thanks go to RHT for this discovery. . .

Editors note: Considering who this letter comes from, one might think it would have been big news, but today was the first time I had a chance to see it.  Now the letter:

Solemnity of Christ the King

Mr. President,

Allow me to address you at this hour in which the fate of the whole world is being threatened by a global conspiracy against God and humanity. I write to you as an Archbishop, as a Successor of the Apostles, as the former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States of America. I am writing to you in the midst of the silence of both civil and religious authorities. May you accept these words of mine as the “voice of one crying out in the desert” (Jn 1:23).

As I said when I wrote my letter to you in June, this historical moment sees the forces of Evil aligned in a battle without quarter against the forces of Good; forces of Evil that appear powerful and organized as they oppose the children of Light, who are disoriented and disorganized, abandoned by their temporal and spiritual leaders.

Daily we sense the attacks multiplying of those who want to destroy the very basis of society: the natural family, respect for human life, love of country, freedom of education and business. We see heads of nations and religious leaders pandering to this suicide of Western culture and its Christian soul, while the fundamental rights of citizens and believers are denied in the name of a health emergency that is revealing itself more and more fully as instrumental to the establishment of an inhuman faceless tyranny

A global plan called the Great Reset is underway. Its architect is a global Ă©lite that wants to subdue all of humanity, imposing coercive measures with which to drastically limit individual freedoms and those of entire populations. In several nations this plan has already been approved and financed; in others, it is still in an early stage. Behind the world leaders who are the accomplices and executors of this infernal project, there are unscrupulous characters who finance the World Economic Forum and Event 201, promoting their agenda.

The purpose of the Great Reset is the imposition of a health dictatorship aiming at the imposition of liberticidal measures, hidden behind tempting promises of ensuring a universal income and canceling individual debt. The price of these concessions from the International Monetary Fund will be the renunciation of private property and adherence to a program of vaccination against Covid-19 and Covid-21 promoted by Bill Gates with the collaboration of the main pharmaceutical groups. Beyond the enormous economic interests that motivate the promoters of the Great Reset, the imposition of the vaccination will be accompanied by the requirement of a health passport and a digital ID, with the consequent contact tracing of the population of the entire world. Those who do not accept these measures will be confined in detention camps or placed under house arrest, and all their assets will be confiscated.

Mr. President, I imagine that you are already aware that in some countries the Great Reset will be activated between the end of this year and the first trimester of 2021. For this purpose, further lockdowns are planned, which will be officially justified by a supposed second and third wave of the pandemic. You are well aware of the means that have been deployed to sow panic and legitimize draconian limitations on individual liberties, artfully provoking a worldwide economic crisis. In the intentions of its architects, this crisis will serve to make the recourse of nations to the Great Reset irreversible, thereby giving the final blow to a world whose existence and very memory they want to completely cancel. But this world, Mr. President, includes people, affections, institutions, faith, culture, traditions, and ideals: people and values that do not act like automatons, who do not obey like machines, because they are endowed with a soul and a heart, because they are tied together by a spiritual bond that draws its strength from above, from that God that our adversaries want to challenge, just as Lucifer did at the beginning of time with his “non-serviam.”

Many people — as we well know — are annoyed by this reference to the clash between Good and Evil and the use of “apocalyptic” overtones, which according to them exasperates spirits and sharpens divisions. It is not surprising that the enemy is angered at being discovered just when he believes he has reached the citadel he seeks to conquer undisturbed. What is surprising, however, is that there is no one to sound the alarm. The reaction of the deep state to those who denounce its plan is broken and incoherent, but understandable. Just when the complicity of the mainstream media had succeeded in making the transition to the New World Order almost painless and unnoticed, all sorts of deceptions, scandals and crimes are coming to light.

Until a few months ago, it was easy to smear as “conspiracy theorists” those who denounced these terrible plans, which we now see being carried out down to the smallest detail. No one, up until last February, would ever have thought that, in all of our cities, citizens would be arrested simply for wanting to walk down the street, to breathe, to want to keep their business open, to want to go to church on Sunday. Yet now it is happening all over the world, even in picture-postcard Italy that many Americans consider to be a small enchanted country, with its ancient monuments, its churches, its charming cities, its characteristic villages. And while the politicians are barricaded inside their palaces promulgating decrees like Persian satraps, businesses are failing, shops are closing, and people are prevented from living, traveling, working, and praying. The disastrous psychological consequences of this operation are already being seen, beginning with the suicides of desperate entrepreneurs and of our children, segregated from friends and classmates, told to follow their classes while sitting at home alone in front of a computer.

In Sacred Scripture, Saint Paul speaks to us of “the one who opposes” the manifestation of the mystery of iniquity, the kathèkon (2 Thess 2:6-7). In the religious sphere, this obstacle to evil is the Church, and in particular the papacy; in the political sphere, it is those who impede the establishment of the New World Order.

As is now clear, the one who occupies the Chair of Peter has betrayed his role from the very beginning in order to defend and promote the globalist ideology, supporting the agenda of the deep church, who chose him from its ranks.

Mr. President, you have clearly stated that you want to defend the nation — One Nation under God, fundamental liberties, and non-negotiable values that are denied and fought against today. It is you, dear President, who are “the one who opposes” the deep state, the final assault of the children of darkness.

For this reason, it is necessary that all people of good will be persuaded of the epochal importance of the imminent election: not so much for the sake of this or that political program, but because of the general inspiration of your action that best embodies — in this particular historical context — that world, our world, which they want to cancel by means of the lockdown. Your adversary is also our adversary: it is the Enemy of the human race, He who is “a murderer from the beginning” (Jn 8:44).

Around you are gathered with faith and courage those who consider you the final garrison against the world dictatorship. The alternative is to vote for a person who is manipulated by the deep state, gravely compromised by scandals and corruption, who will do to the United States what Jorge Mario Bergoglio is doing to the Church, Prime Minister Conte to Italy, President Macron to France, Prime Minster Sanchez to Spain, and so on. The blackmailable nature of Joe Biden — just like that of the prelates of the Vatican’s “magic circle” — will expose him to be used unscrupulously, allowing illegitimate powers to interfere in both domestic politics as well as international balances. It is obvious that those who manipulate him already have someone worse than him ready, with whom they will replace him as soon as the opportunity arises.

And yet, in the midst of this bleak picture, this apparently unstoppable advance of the “Invisible Enemy,” an element of hope emerges. The adversary does not know how to love, and it does not understand that it is not enough to assure a universal income or to cancel mortgages in order to subjugate the masses and convince them to be branded like cattle. This people, which for too long has endured the abuses of a hateful and tyrannical power, is rediscovering that it has a soul; it is understanding that it is not willing to exchange its freedom for the homogenization and cancellation of its identity; it is beginning to understand the value of familial and social ties, of the bonds of faith and culture that unite honest people. This Great Reset is destined to fail because those who planned it do not understand that there are still people ready to take to the streets to defend their rights, to protect their loved ones, to give a future to their children and grandchildren. The leveling inhumanity of the globalist project will shatter miserably in the face of the firm and courageous opposition of the children of Light. The enemy has Satan on its side, He who only knows how to hate. But on our side, we have the Lord Almighty, the God of armies arrayed for battle, and the Most Holy Virgin, who will crush the head of the ancient Serpent. “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Rom 8:31).

Mr. President, you are well aware that, in this crucial hour, the United States of America is considered the defending wall against which the war declared by the advocates of globalism has been unleashed. Place your trust in the Lord, strengthened by the words of the Apostle Paul: “I can do all things in Him who strengthens me” (Phil 4:13). To be an instrument of Divine Providence is a great responsibility, for which you will certainly receive all the graces of state that you need, since they are being fervently implored for you by the many people who support you with their prayers.

With this heavenly hope and the assurance of my prayer for you, for the First Lady, and for your collaborators, with all my heart I send you my blessing.

God bless the United States of America!

Dead Want to Vote In Florida!

Florida officials stop attempt to register dead people in Broward County

Florida elections and law enforcement officials detected a scheme that sought to register dozens of dead people to vote in Broward County, though the motive is not clear, according to the county elections office.

The county received about 50 voter registration applications sent in envelopes postmarked from Columbia, South Carolina, with no return address, documents show.

The majority of the people named in the applications — who were listed as Democrats — were verified to be deceased and no votes were cast under their names, said Broward County elections spokesman Steven Vancore.

Vancore said that Florida allows people to register to vote by mail but he said the county receives state data about people who have died and marks those individuals in its files as ineligible to vote. Florida requires a valid government ID to actually show up and vote, so Vancore said this scheme “only got half the equation” necessary to vote.

“Somebody went to great pains to exploit the system and it was caught,” said Vancore. “We don’t know if this person did this for pure chicanery or they were trying to alter the outcome of the election … but there appears to be no attempt that this person voted.”

The South Florida Sun Sentinel was first to report the applications.
